Course Curriculum Overview
When it comes to the food production department the curriculum is quiet deep and vast in nature, because we got to learn global cuisines alongside indian cuisine which is diversified in itself. Moreover, the bakery part was also very good coming from different countries. Overall, the curriculum gives a good exposure to its students when it comes to Food production I guess the teachers were well trained in the field, the practical aspect was good but when it comes to theoretical part of the course, they fell a little short. Exam was conducted in mid of semester and at the end of semester for 6 times in 3 years. Timing was usual with the college schedule and the difficulty level was moderate.
Internships Opportunities
For the internship, various companies were welcomed aboard to select students for industrial exposure. Marriott Hotels Taj hotels Oberoi hotels Ramada hotels Radisson hotels And few more The average stipend was quiet low.
Placement Experience
From 5th semester on, students are trained mentally to participate in the placement process. The first step is to choose the representative who will take charge of the particular set of students for example their resume building, resume submission, informing students about the upcoming companies arrival in the institution for placements and the designations for which they are coming. Nearly from the 6th semester, placement process starts to take place. Name of the companies are: Taj hotels snd resorts Oberoi hotels and resorts Delhi duty free Arvind fashion Lemon tree hotels Madhuban resorts Club Mahindra Mariott hotels Starbucks Highest package was around 4.50lac/annum Average package was around 2.25lac/annum Nearly 77% students were placed from the colleges placements, few opted out for further studies. I was placed in Marriott Hotels.

Admission
For IHM colleges, there comes a competitive examination named as NCHMCT-JEE conducted by NTA which allows a student to score well and get into 29 Central institutions of Hotel Management and nearly 70 State Institutions of Hotel Management. I scored well in my competitive examination and during selection process i chose, IHM Hyderabad, IHM Bhopal, IHM Gwalior, IHM Lucknow & IHM Jaipur, these are Central IHM's and i got my spot in IHM Gwalior at first place and i selected it. I didn't apply for any other colleges, so i wasn't rejected from any other colleges.
Faculty
The student to teacher ratio was for 25 students there was one teacher. The teachers were quiet good and easily approachable for the students. The best teacher were Firoz khan sir for bakery, joyce ma'am for front office and joseph sir for placements The exam was conducted in two phases first mid term of 50 marks and then final term of 100 marks in each semester. The difficulty level of exam was easy to moderate. So number of students who failed to clear the exam was pretty low. It was relevant
Night Life
Since the campus is quiet far from the main city. So nightlife is not so good around the campus but there are gyms, cafeterias and other market places around the campus for daily needs and purpose. I was not the part of hostel during my college days but hostellers were asked to be in the campus before 8pm or so. The locality is a highway road.
