Remarks
The college doesn't have many placement facilities but as it is a government institution the course fee is a little less as compared to other colleges and the hostel facilities are overall good. And the teaching facilities are not that much good.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good. As in course structure, there are eight semesters having five to six subjects in each semester and two internals in each semester and followed by surprise test and quiz test.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities are very poor and rarely a reputed company like WIPRO, TCS, etc. Comes but ordinary companies generally come mostly, which are mostly not satisfied by the students. So students also depend on off-campus jobs.
College Events
There are three to four major events conducted by the college. For the new students, a fresher's party is conducted. And sports functions are also conducted. And the main event of the college is its exuberance followed by the cultural fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As it is a government college fee structure is not so expensive. The course fee for an odd semester is around thirty thousand and for an even semester only fifteen hundred for semester registration only. And TFW facility is also there.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are many scholarships offered by colleges as well as the Odisha government like Medhabruti, Prerana, Jindal, etc. Whicher is sponsored by the government and some private companies and is based on merit and category.
Campus Life
The college has different societies and clubs like Robotics Club, Dramatic society, Imagix club for painting and graphic design, Shadow club for photography and photo editing, and sports clubs and groups are there.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, the hostel infrastructure is good but the hostel facilities are a bit unsatisfactory but are manageable and there are attached bathrooms that are cleaned daily and the corridors are swiped daily in the morning.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, the alumni network is somehow large and the seniors are well placed. Alumni and seniors are helpful but not that much as there are at a distance from the college. But sometimes if time permits they try to reach us.
Admission
I got admission to this college through the joint entrance exam (JEE), but one can also get admission through Odisha joint entrance exam I.e, OJEE, and the selection are merit-based. If the seats are vacant then spot admission is conducted by the college.
Faculty
There are fewer permanent faculty in some branches but the other vacant subjects are conducted by the guest faculty and the teaching procedure are not excellent but overall good and are understandable.
