BIT Patna

Overall BIT patna is a very good college if you are willing to learn as it provides you with many opportunities to get placed in big companies. But yes, only CSE/IT is good in that way(although almost 90% EEE and ECE students also gets placed), else CIVIL faculty is good but no scope of placements.

The course curriculum is very good as it follows regular IITs and NITs course. There are 2 major exams during a semester, Mid semester and End semester, in between classes internals exam also takes place.

Placement and job opportunities are excellent in the college as you will be placed in the main campus and you will be able to sit in all companies if your gpa is above 7.5, in the main campus. The college doesn't lack in giving full opportunities to the students. No, the college doesn't provide internship.

There are 2 major events in the college. Both are celebrated during even semesters. Technika(techno cultural fest) and Prakrida(Sports fest). Other than these annual Athletic meet is also celebrated in January. In odd semesters Jhalak(cultural) program is also organised.

The fee structure is a bit expensive than NITs or IITs but it compensates with the good hostels, clean and hygienic food, good labs and the instruments and a great library and gym(all incuded in the fees)

I don't know about any of that. Maybe scholarship is given to the students in the first year if their score is great(above 8 ot 8.5), but I am not very sure about it. I don't know about Loan facility.

There are plenty extracurricular activities to be done in the college. There is a big ground and the level of football is very good in the college. Cricket is also played and several tournaments are organised (using both type of balls). Chess and carrom boards are also there. Every hostel has table tennis boards. There is a vollyball and a lawn tennis pitch also. Labs are also good and well maintained.

Hostels are great. Clean and hygienic food, big and clean rooms. You have double bed rooms during the first year and then afterwards single rooms are given. Toilets and bathrooms are also very well cleaned.

The alumni is fast growing and is very strong in the college. The passed out seniors are really great and very helpful, also the seniors in the college are also very good and very helpful. Ragging is never done in the college.

The admission is in three process, firstly for the counselling, I had to fill the form which the college released on its site, then students are shortlisted(after 4 rounds) based on their JEE Main rank and finally the shortlisted students had to go to the college to seal the seat by paying the semester fee.

The faculty is not so good but are helpful especially in the CS department. Rest department faculty are average, some are PhD while others are doing PhD, finally a student has to study on his own mostly.
