Positive is that you can live by your rules in the college and that itself becomes a negative mark. You can be a good student and make most of what the college has to offer but also you can be mischievous.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is too old right now. It needs to be updated to the latest trends that are going about in this world. Still, we are forced to learn the oldest software and nothing new. But exam pattern is also old
Placement Experience
Many IT companies visit our campus. They have a very good placement record. They take in a lot of students who are eligible for placements and most of them get placed in major IT companies. They also offer a good package.
College Events
There are many sports and cultural events that happen in our college. From fresher's day to college cultural for the student to free themselves away from studies for some time. Everyone is given a chance to participate.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is feasible. It is not too much compared to what other colleges ask for. They sometimes ask fees for something you don't need like books that you can get from the library and even second-hand copies that can be bought for a cheaper price.
Fees and Financial Aid
I haven't got a scholarship so far. But I was offered one to do ME in that college. I declined it because I had got a job already. You have to get 7 cgpa to avail of these benefits. They offer huge scholarships for such students.
Campus Life
All the labs are equipped with the latest tech but no student has the will to use it. In the computer science department, the lab is a bit too old with old computers with several of them not working properly. They need to fix this.
Alumni/Alumna
I have seen an alumni meet organized by the college recently. I also have been invited to join one. Our senior students are very much helpful in finding us jobs. They are friendly and also extremely talented.
Admission
I got through the management quota. I applied for the college through a known person who studied in that college. They asked me to pay the fees and I got admission just like that. If you score good marks on boards then you don't have to pay extra fees.
Faculty
They are friendly and are very much interested to help students. They don't mind spending time with you even if you're the only person in the class. They are quite knowledgeable but also they are old-fashioned.
