Assumption college is a women's college which provide opportunity for the students to be independent nd hardworking.They can find out their inborn talentsby participate ng in various events organised by the college .

Bcom is a highly demanded course and the course lasts for 6 semesters having several exams like internals in between to evaluate the students .The exam pattern is very impressive and it contains options so that the candidate can choose questions which he wants to appear. The duration of the exam is 2 and a half hours which is sufficient enough to cover all the questions.

A placement cell is present in our college .Students can register their names their nd the HR head will inform us about the placements.More than 20 companies take part last year in the recruitment process and many of our students got placed in companies like TCS,Vipro and of the like .Our college doesn't provide any internships because that is not a part of the syllabus.

Assumption college give importance to academics as well as celebrations.Our college celebrations goes like this Arts day,Sports day,Teachers day,Christmas ,Onam,Diwali,Holi,World Dance day , Environment day e.t.c. All the events are conducted by the college union of the respective academic year .The main attraction of this year was a Mass Dance arranged as part of World dance day celebration.

Even though there are certain courses which is under the stream self financing (11,000 rs per sem ),all other courses are of feasible fee structure which can be afforded by all category of students . Even if the self financing courses are a bit expensive ,the teaching is worth for that .

The college provide certain scholarship for the students who excel in academics like Sr.Mary Rani memorial award for the student who secured highest score in all the semesters and apart from that high scorer of each subject is awarded separately.

Assumption is famous for its sports performance.For the last several years ,our college has been selected as the best sports performing college nd awarded 1 lakh rupees for the same .The students who are under the sports quota can avail free education nd free hostel facility.

Assumption college have 5 hostels for girls which are strictly under the control of college management.The hostel fees is 18,000 per month including food and the ambience of hostel is apt for a student to concentrate in her studies.

Senior students are very helpful in doing project works nd any queries can be asked freely.Their is no strong variation between juniors and seniors .A friendly relationship is maintained among all.Senior students and alumni network is very helpful for the students to excel in their career .

All candidates are requested to apply online and the short listed candidates according to their marks are called to visit the department head before a particular date .The selection procedure is purely merit based.

The faculty members are friendly and approachable.Students are free to ask any doubts nd moreover, faculty members are ready to take extra classes for the students who are struggling in certain subjects .
