Remarks
I gave a lot of positive remarks about my college so to be fair some negative remarks should be made. The college is good but their are better options to choose from as well. Many colleges affiliated to RTU University are on par to JECRC.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum is advanced and is changed frequently which diversifies the topics covered in the entire year. Exams are held in the forms of Majors and minors, Majors are the end Semester Exams and Minors are held periodically during the semester.
Placement Experience
As I have heard and seen( Previous year seniors) the placements are almost 100% with some exceptions here and there. Even before applying for this college, I knew about the placements activities and how the staff helps the students with the preparations. Their are internships provided by the college but I am not familiar with most of them at the moment.
College Events
Their is an annual fest known as Renaissance 2K(XX) where students from all around the country participates in various events and the preparations for the same begins two months before the celebration dates. Their are a number of different events held by different clubs and groups in the college too.
Fee Structure And Facilities
JECRC foundation is not a complete private college and as it's affiliated to RTU University, the semester fee is feasible for an average middle class indian student. It's costs around 39K INR(~$550) per semester and the college provides fee deduction upto 25% on advanced payments.
Fees and Financial Aid
A good scholarship offered by my college (as I know of) is for students from lower class families in which the students can study for free provided they are sincere to the exams and the classes. Failing semesters is not an option if one has availed this scholarship scheme.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities includes of a number of clubs devoted to things they like to do. Their are a number of social clubs and activities clubs. These social clubs are very well known in the city for their outstanding achievements and the other clubs do well in different competitions as well.
Hostel Facilities
I belong to a neighbouring city named Kota so I'd have to opt for hostel as the college is situated in Jaipur. The Campus hostels are divided into three buildings namely as BH-1,BH-2,GH-3(Boy's/Girl's Hostel). It costs 75K INR(~$1050) p.a. but the college scheme of 5-25% off on semester and hostel fees makes it affordable for us. There's a normal 3 meals a day system and the rooms are spacious.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is kinda helpful and most of the help is from your friends and the Seniors. The Seniors are kind to the newcomers and juniors and tend to help in any way possible if asked to. All the students are nice and helpful to each other.
Admission
JECRC is a RTU affiliated College which means the students applying for the college needs to either give an examination known as REAP or just use your JEE mains score to secure a REAP merit. And when the admission procedure is about to be completed, the remaining seats(if any) are filled through management Quota which is under college's supervision. I got in the college through my JEE mains score when I applied for REAP rank through JEE Mains.
Faculty
Faculties in my college very knowledgeable in their respective fields and are ready to help whenever you ask them for. As my college also participates in research, many faculties are and have been involved in different studies and many are author to their own books.
