My College

The campus itself is really beautiful. It has it's own museum. The students are well disciplined. The college aims at making good citizens. It also has numerous fests and programmes which helps students to bring out their talents.

The course is in semester system. Two semesters per year. we also have two internal exams per semester. The curriculum is vast. we have to learn about many things in a single semester. It's a huge workload.

Many companies do come for campus selections. But they mainly recruit Commerece students. Job offers for science students are low. The college doesn't provide internships. But there are many other organistaions provide internships to students.

Our college has many clubs and associations which conducts lots of events.Most of these events aim at bringing talents hidden in students out. There are Musicals fest, dance competitions, Arts fests, sports fests, seminars, debates etc.

The fee structure is feasible. It's affordable by middle class families. The college also provides concession to students who are not financially stable. And students who scores good marks also gets a concession.

College doesn't provide any scholarships. But there are numerous scholarships by Karnataka government and Central government available for students. These scholarships aim at providing a financial support to students from backward classes and who are not financially fit.

The labs are really good. We really have fun in doing experiments. They have good equipments and infrastructure. Every friday we have 3 hours for club activities. Each and every student must take part in them. Sports activities are also there. The college has a physical department which takes care of sports activities. College football, basketball and hockey teams have won so many tournaments.

Many of our alumni's are now in good positions. There are movie actors, sports personalities, politicians, entrepreneurs etc. They do come back to college once in a while and help the college in many other ways too.

I applied for admission through the college website. somedays later I got a phone call and an email to appear for interview.I was asked to bring all my marks card ad certificates with me. I attended the interview and got selected.

Most of the faculty are PhD holders. They have vast knowledge about the subject too. Almost all of them have cleared the CAT and SET exams. Many are friendly, helping, helps us to clear back logs, in projects etc.
