Good engineering college of meerut and AKTU

Strict rules, mostly focus on study, At my time there was little ragging in hostel but now it is almost negligible, If you have passion to study and towards engineering than you can study here, If you think to just enjoy college life with bunking and all than, I would say very less scope for that.

Course curriculum is on latest trend and technology, here we have semester pattern , for btech course we have 8 semester, each semester have internal assessment , external and practical exams 75% attendence is mandatory in order to appear for sem exams

Placement are just as other 3 tier colleges, I don't say they will let u place in Google or Microsoft, But they will built a capabilities in you to get in place over there, But yes tcs,wipro, Accenture,ibm etc. This mnc you can get placed easily. About internship , scope for internship by college is negligible.

There are many events held in college every year, 1) kolahal - 3 days cultural fest where there is concert by singers, 2) Glitz - literature fest. 3) Rangotsav- art fest. 4) Robochamps- technical fest. 5)codevita- annual inter college coding contest. And many more in list.

Fee structure is feasible, can be easily afford by any middle class family For me it was around 110000 annually, All inclusive You have an option to pay in 2 installments, Also there is feawiver policy ,which u can get through AKTU ,in which your complete tution fee is waved off.

You can apply for scholarship ever year provided by state govt ,if your annual income is less than 4.5 lakh, If belong to sc/st ,you will get 1.04 lakh, for other u will get 64k. If taking hostel facility, Other wise it would be 96k for SC/ST and 56k for others.

All extracurricular activities are upto mark ,labs are fine ( not hope for best), sports facility are good, I will rate it 3/5, If good in sports you can participate at University level, And in intercollege level.

Hostel infrastructure was not as much good , but yes according to the fees it was good , Food was ok ok, laundry facilities was there, hot and cold water facility, wifi, 24/7 electricity, no ac, medical facility , sports club, Gym , if you are fasting during navratri that fast food will be available, Don't hope for any non veg items,it's a pure vegetarian hostel.

It's mostly depends on the network you create with your seniors, If you have good connection ,then yes senior are very helpful, They guide you in studies , and also help you in getting placed, Also there is alumini Meetup time to time.

For admission you have to clear the entrance exam of AKTU and on the bases of rank you will get the admission If having a good 12th score ,you can also take the admission directly in management quota , Only if seats are available

Faculty is experienced , Help students to Clear there doubts, Give more practical knowledge, Encourage to innovate new things, Also very supportive to encourage student to do extra curricular work, Sometimes little strict,
