Remarks

The Institute is fully dedicated in bringing out the doctor within you. Provides the students with all necessary facilities at a very affordable cost. The Institute is located at the heart of the city making it easier for students to commute.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Curriculum is set by the Central Institute at Delhi. It gives equal balance to both Theoretical and Practical knowledge. There are 3 Professional exams out between 1, 1.5 and 2 years gap. There are semester exams in all semesters.

Placement Experience

4.5

Being a medical college, a paid internship of 1 year is compulsory for all outgoing students. The stipend is excellent and a lot of practical skills are learnt in this course. In the course of one year, an intern is posted in all departments of the hospital.

College Events

4

All Government holidays. Annual fest of the college is celebrated on September of every year. College foundation day is celebrated on February of every year. Graduation day is held on January of every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very feasible, once you have acquired a seat through the entrance exam, the fees for the entire course is just around Rs 5000. This is the cheapest I have encountered for a medical college. Hostel fees although are separate.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college in association with Medical Council of India conducts an annual research program for undergraduate students called STS. Under this project, the students are given an opputurtunity to submit a proposal. If selected they will be given a stipend to complete and submit their project.

Campus Life

3.5

Ample amount of time and opportunity is given to students to participate in both intra and inter college activities. The college also has a full fledged field. All laboratories are well equipped with state of the art equipments.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel is located within the campus itself. This makes it easier to commute to and fro from college and hospital. Has all stare of the art facilities. Students are provided independent rooms. Undergraduate and post graduate buildings are separate.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students help the freshers settle down and know a thing or two about the system at the initial stages. The college has a strict Anti Ragging cell. Presently the alumni network is small but it is growing day by day.

Admission

Based in rank obtained in AIIMS entrance exam. Exam is conducted in June of every year. Admission is done through counseling conducted at AIIMS Delhi. Recently the counseling has been made online. 3 rounds of counselling.

Faculty

4.5

All the departments have excellent faculty. Each department has a HOD and an arsenal of assistant and associated professors. Classes are on point. Teachers stick to their schedule and never goes overboard.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS course curriculum is quite comprehensive and well-structured, covering all the essential aspects of medical science needed for both academic growth and clinical practice. The inclusion of subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry in the first year builds a strong foundation for understanding the human body and disease mechanisms. The curriculum is relevant as it gradually progresses from basic to clinical subjects, preparing students for real-world medical applications and patient care. Teaching methods such as interactive lectures, practical sessions, dissections, and clinical demonstrations make learning more engaging and concept-based. However, more emphasis on integrated teaching, case-based discussions, and exposure to real clinical settings from the early years would further enhance understanding and application. The frequency and timing of exams are generally well-planned, but sometimes the schedule can feel packed, leaving limited time for conceptual revision. Overall, the curriculum is highly relevant and effective, though incorporating more modern teaching methods, simulation-based learning, and periodic skill assessments could make it even better suited for today’s medical challenges.
