People say the campus is quite small as compared to other institutes. But it's the students of NIT PATNA Who make it awesome. We student explore every inch of the institute and make the best out of it.

When I joined the course curriculum was different from the present course curriculum i.e of my junior batches. Curriculum foucuses both on technical as well as co curricular field. Curriculum even includes language brushing session, sports session and many more things. Many students club is active which help students to nurture their soft skills.

placement is quite good for CSE , IT and ECE. Its not that other branches have zero placement, but in comparison to the above mentioned branches core branches have less companies visiting them. Companies like smasungR&D, Nokia , Ericson, sabre, shezar, crick exchange , L&T, Amazon, GE, Alstom , Analytic quetiet, ZA Associate, sigmoid , BUYhat k , Namekart , High radius, Infosys , Sudha dairy, thermax, Tata projects, Afcons , Prism and Johnson, KEC, KPIT, LJI,Cap gemine, Adobe visit NIT patna

There is a annual techno cultural fest (TCF)of NIT Patna which is a week long fest organized in the month of January every year. It includes techical events as well as cultural events. A good platform for students to showcase their talent. In TCF campus is open to other institutes also. Student from other institutes of patna come here to participate in the events. Movimg on NIT Patna has a inter department event named Essentrica in which cultural events are organised. In Essentrica students compete for the pride their department. Personally I love being a part of Essentrica. Students cheering for their department. Moving on to sports annual sports event called INTRAMURALS is organised. Which includes events of atheletics, weight lifting , squash , cricket, badminton, table tennis, football and many other indoor games. Apart for this different clubs organize mauy events and competitions and courses and guest lectures by prominent speakers.

I personally find fee structure is quite expensive but the government provides heavy rebaits for economically weak students and also to some reservation student. Fee is 1.25 lacs for 1 yr excluding fooding and Lodging. Lodngi is quite cheap is 12000 for a year and fooding is 15000 for one semester that is 6 months.

Many scholarship are available. And banks easily offer loan NITians. Some State scholarship like Uttar Pradesh Provide their meritorious students. BIhar government provides scholarship to the topper of first year civil engineering department.

May extra curricular activities and sport s facilities are available in the college. Proper badminton court football court cricket ground , squash court , table tennis table , snooker table , gym, dance room , music room are present and that too fully equipped.

HosteI infrastructure is quite good I would rate 8 out of 10. NIT Patna has Newly built G+10 Hostel. Which is fully equipped with the moder amenities. Like lift, proper fire fighting equipment proper mess system with high speed internet WiFi zone, and 24 hours electricity

Alumni network is average of the institute. It's in the building phase. Many alumni of the institute are now prominent faces in the society. Like the present CM of Bihar Sri Nitish Kumar is a alumni of NIT Patna. Many IAS and IES are serving the nation. Recent alumni of NIT Patna Mr. Pirshottam Rawat who completed his engineering in 2015 is the the owner of the prominent app and website crick info and was the title sponsor of TCF 2019 And even came for campus placement in 2016. Many other successful entrepreneur are from nit Patna.

Getting into NIT's is not easy. I started preparing for the entrance exam I.e the JEE mains and Advance from class 11 th. After 2 years of rigorous hard work and perseverance I appeared in JEE mains exams conducted by CBSE in 2016. After the results are declared, online choice filling starts. You need the fill the choice of the institute and branch in chronological order what you want. It's not like you fill the choices in a hafhazard way and you will get the college you are looking for. You will be alloted the institute which comes first from the top. After you get a seat in the counselling session. Online seat acceptance fee is pain and physical reporting is done to the assigned institutes.

Faculty is supportive motivating and are always ready to help students. They intent to deliver most out of them in the confined schedule and time span. They also help students with their projects and other innovative works.
