Remarks

The good thing about the college is it checks your adaptability skills and patience. The bad thing is less utilization of funds and old mindset. My words to the management are please change your mindset and one sided attitude.

Entrance Preview

I wrote APEAMCET ,the entrance exam for students to join in engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh. I got 562 rank and choose this college as it is a highly reputed college and the one of the top 3 universities of Andhra Pradesh.

Course Curriculum Overview

The B.E course consists of 7 semesters with two semesters per year except first year. the syllabus is very old yet tough.The syllabus is considered to be toughest here.The faculty here ranges from highly qualified to the very poorly qualified teachers.

Internships Opportunities

College has no tie-up with the companies for internships.Students have to go to companies to do industrial training.I completed my training at HPCL,Visakhapsatnam.

Placement Experience

Placements are less compared to other colleges,Core placements are meager.But most of the students get selected every year by INFOSYS,WIPRO,ACCENTURE etc.Package - 2.76 L - 7L

College Events

College festivals happen regularly but they are not as big as other fests.

Fees and Financial Aid

To my knowledge, I think there aren't any good loans or scholarships available. The government offers good scholarships to most of the college students.

Campus Life

Campus life is good.Gender ratio is good.Very rich diversity with students of other countries.Extracurricular activities are not bad.Labs are good.Student bodies,competitions etc are present.Economic status is good but politics is little bit high.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are old and one room is shared by two persons.The fees is nominal.Mess food is really bad.But hostel life is very memorable and one can enjoy.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Excellent interaction with seniors and they guide you well.Alumni association is also present to help the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best and for some it could be worst part also , it doesn't matter whether you're a mechanical engineering student or EEE or CSE you should have to learn every single programming language from C to python including DSA and cloud computing which will help you to switch your career easily if you want. but however at the same time the mechanical students feel stressed alot. because they have to study their own field subjects which are not easy at the same time they have to clear the programming languages which are completely different from mechanical subjects

Placement Experience:

If I talk about my branch, as per my knowledge from 6th semester onwards the students can sit in the placement run. The college offers placement training with individual of expertise from that respective subject. Many top companies visit the campus to list out, AWS, INFOSYS, JMAN, TCS, IBM are some if them. More than 50 lakhs package is secured. The average lies around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed varies from branch to branch and for some branches it's 100%, the average package for them would be 3 lakhs per annum, and the highest goes around 12 lakhs per annum. Students can apply off campus if they didn't get placed.
