Remarks

Positive: Faculty is good, infra is good, located in the heart of town, seniors are good. Negative: Low iq students who scored decent marks or those who are in other courses like CA read here.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course is good and most of the teachers here know what they are teaching, so it wont be a bad experience. Course is devided into 6 semester and is under cbcs system of odisha government. You will surely enjoy reading commerce here.

Placement Experience

1

Not so good placement its just 1-2 companies that recruit you and that too if you are recommended by one of these teachers. College provides additional courses like pgdca. You can take them if you want a lower good job at the end of your bachelors.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its so cheap, It is like under 7000 to 8000 for three years. As it is a government college you also get scholarship if you belong to weaker sections. And you get laptop if you score well.

Fees and Financial Aid

After intermediate course they give you a free laptop if fulfil their conditions that is generally scoring above 75%. It is a sceme by the Odisha government. Also you get a scholarship if you belong to economically or socially weaker groups.

Campus Life

3

A number of extracurricular activities are performed by the college including ncc (national cadets corps) they have football and cricket team, labs are good with lots of equipments and are really large.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are helpful as there is an election system like any other government college. They really need your votes so they behave nicely and in general also the seniors are good and quite helpful they set up camps to guide you during entrance and examination.

Admission

You can get into this college through sams online portal. You get the merit list mailed to you on the given date if sleected you physically submit papers for verification. Then they check if given information was correct or not.

Faculty

4

Most of the teachers here know what they are teaching, so it wont be a bad experience. Non teaching staffs are (according to me) invisible. So there is a bit cleaning and management problem. Teachers are irregular too. They want students to have 75% attendance but they themselves are careless about classes, they come late to class.

Placement Experience:

In our college, final-year students are eligile for campus placements. While i don't recall the specific companies that visited, one of my friends interviewed with Axis Bank and got selected with a package of around 2.4 lakh. The exact percentage of students are placed and details of average or highest packages are unclear to me, but the placements process provides opportunities of those actively seeking jobs. After completing my degree, I plan to pursue an independent career rather that seeking a traditioinal job placement.
