Remarks

Nopes no negative comment. I have met the best people of my life here and we have enjoyed all good and bad things together. If you are talented, this college will help you grow and provide your opportunities. All the best.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus has been updated this year but since I am in third year, I have to study outdated syllabus. Exam pattern is more or less same like every other colleges. We have 25 marks midsem, 15 marls internal and 60 marks endsem.

Placement Experience

Good. No internship is not provided in 3rd year but available in 4th year for the 8th semester. We are given the opportunity to participate in the recruitment processes of our main branch that is BIT Mesra also.

College Events

Clubs are really active. Various technical and non-technical events are always being organized all the time. Online and onsite both the events are fun. As clubs have good funding, there are always attractive cash prizes for attraction.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's quite expensive. Every year the fees is increasing at the fast rate. Apart from the main fees, there are also bus charge which we rarely use, mess overdues and other extra charges that we have to pay every semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are scholarships for people scoring more than 8 cgpa but only if the annual income of there family is below a certain value. The percentage of scholarship increases with your Cgpa. It doesn't help in loan procedure.

Campus Life

Everyone loves sports here. There are annual sports fest and athletic meets. Few of the labs are in good condition, few of them are not. Cultural club is active here. Every year we have a cultural fest.

Hostel Facilities

There are alot of stupid and annoying restrictions. 5:45 is the intime. The terrace is locked at 11pm for no good reason. Even for going to market there is a time restriction of 4hours so you can't even plan a movie peacefully.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are the best thing I feel about this college. They are really helpful and supportive. Alumni network are also always there for us. There is usually a family kind relationship between the senior and junior members of any club.

Admission

I filled a form with my JEE Mains rank and 12th marks. I came across this college through an article in newspaper. The form was available on the official website of BIT Patna. After a week, they released the merit list and we were called for admission.

Faculty

Attendance is given the utmost priority. My department that is Computer Science and Engineering is good. Faculties are supportive. Some of them are really supportive regarding competitive coding, sports and other extra curriculum.

Placements at NIT Patna Are good for cs e The students become eligible from 7th semester Average place fields is around 13 to 14 lpa Eld highest goes to 40 Around 85 to 95 Percent students get placed I plan to become a software developer after graduation

Motihari Engineering College in my Point Of View

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible to seat and apply for campus placements . Eligiblity criteria depends on companies but if you have 7 CGPA ir more than that then you don't need to worry . Companies like Godrej, ACC,CDAC, BHEL, Infosys, WIPRO ,TCS etc. visited our college for campus placements. Highest package from our college is around 13 Lakh Per Annum and average placement is 3 to 4 Lakh Per Annum Its totally depends upon companies and their job profiles. There are almost 60 to 70 percentage student got placement ( In upper branches like CSE& AI percentage is slightly high otherwise it is quite low for civil and our branches) My plans after getting a degree that is I have to go for M.Tech from any IITs of India I am preparing hard for that.

The placement of this collage are not as good as it should have to be. Students gets as the average packlagge of around 4 to 5 lakh per annum. Branches like cse and ai also didnot get placements as it should have to be.Students depends on government vaccancies and offline placements like rozgar mela etc to got job. government should have to focus on these.

Genuine Review of Motihari Engineering College

Placement Experience:

From 6th semster you are eligible to sit in campus placement . There is companies like Infosys , TCS , De Walls Ads , Wipro, Congnizent, ACC visited our college for campus placements . They have limited offers with limited packages also they have some eligiblity criterias like students should have CGPA above than 7.5 . Highest package offered in our college is 13 LPA per annum by TCS for a CSE student and Average package is around 3.5 to 4 lakh per annum. There is highest placements in branches like CSE ,EEE andCIVIL. Other branches got less offeres. Totally 50 to 60 percentage students got placements from our college because majority lower branch students are preparing for government exams like SSC , UPSC, BPSC , DAROGA and GATE. My plans after getting the degree to go for highes studies (M.TECH) .

Motihari Engineering College in my Point Of Views

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There is companies like Wipro , Infosys, ACC, Copegimini, Congnizent, TCS visited our college for campus placements. There is very less number of offers given by companies and also there is almost negligible offers for Lower branches(like Mechanical and Civil) . There is highest 12.4 lakh per annum for a CSE student given by TCS and average salary of 4 LPA . There is only 50 to 60 percent students got placements in which majority are from CSE , CSE-AI , and EEE branches. My plans after getting the degree is doing M.tech from any reputed Colleges of India like some NITs or IITs depending to my Gate Score.

Placement Experience:

From 7 th semester students become eligible for cmpus placements . Thera are a few companies like HCL, TCS, Wipro, Infosys , Cisco ,Figma ,ACC and so on visited our college for campus placement but limited offers . Percentage of placements is arround 60 % which is very low but students are trying there best . Higher package was 12.4 LPA by Infosys as SDE and avrage package of 4 LPA. My plans are not taking plaement , I am preparing for gate 2027 .

Well placed college

Remarks:

Positive:- Very Good college and working very hard to become one of best college of Bihar. Negative:- Very few faculty of civil engineering in our College, the lab facility for 3rd and 4th year student is not available at all.

I get BIT MESRA throgh Jossa councelling...This college is best from many other private and semi govt. colleges althogh my rank was less bt this college is good.and i am happy that i get cse branch which i wanted. I didnt apply to any other college i get bit mesra from the jossa councelling itself..so no point of rejection from other college.
