Remarks

The college is only academic motivated, hence they'll get the good lectures as compared to all the colleges in the district, but the students who wants to mould their extraordinary skills will not get satisfied here.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Curriculum is decided by University of Calicut. And exam will be conducted as per the schedule of University. But the college does conduct evaluation tests in between, to be precise thrice in every semester before the original exam and you'll get good exposure.

Placement Experience

1

Placement and job opportunities of the college is totally a failure. They're trying their best to provide with placements, but the standard of companies coming for the placement is not upto mark considering the course is BTech.

College Events

2.5

They'll conduct sports day, arts day, department association function etc. The programs are conducted well. But it was limited to the college. They'll not participate in intercollegiate functions, which reduces the exposure.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive. If the candidates are a bit more hardworking, they can find atleast an aided self finance college. Here, the fee structure was about 1lakh per year befoe. Currently, i don't know, whether they've reduced the fee due to shortage of engineering aspirants.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is there such that they'll give 50% reduction in fee to a student who scores best in an exam conducted by the college. Loans are not offered by college, they'll only provide the papers required for loan, and the candidates will have to go behind all banks to avail the loan.

Campus Life

3

Since they're new, just 10 years in the field, the main motive is to score better in academic. So they're good at class. Hence they don't motivate the extra curricular activities alot. They'll conduct the required activities as per the university standards, but not upto mark.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni functions are called every year, but it ends up just like a get together. Until now, i didn't hear such that, they're making use of it for the benefit of college and present or previous Students for the purpose of placement nor admissions.

Admission

My admission was in management quota, since I've applied for the course 2 days before the starting date of course. Otherwise, if you're bit capable, you can get admission through merit itself. In merit list, you'll have to attend kerala govt engg entrance and once you get an above average, this college is a sure shot option for admission.

Faculty

3.5

Faculties are quite good, with good academic background and skills. They prefer faculties who atleast completed masters in engineering, that too with good academic records. They'll be having good knowledge of the subject.

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
