Remarks

I personally never had any negative instances with me. Administration department is a bit lethargic, and there's a room for improvement in this field. Apart from this there are no notable negatives about the college. Our college is accredited with "A+" certification by the education council of India i.e. NAAC, and our college ranks in the top 10 commerce colleges in whole of India the biggest positive in my view

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

11th standard curriculum was as per the state syllabus and we had unit tests every two months and a semester exam, similar for 12th standard followed by a preliminary exam before the board exam. In the graduation we had to appear only one unit test and the final exam conducted by the University. Overall we had to complete submission of practicals, projects and other related activities for scoring marks and based on that internal marks were assessed and submitted to the university for final validation. All in all it was fun learning experience at Ness Wadia College of Commerce.

Placement Experience

4

We had a decent placements program run by students and teachers alike. Placement cell used to get in touch with the companies and used to bring them down to campus for interviews. Pretty decent placements structure overall.

College Events

5

We used to celebrate annual fest called "INFINITY", which included cultural program, dance events, sporting events, quiz to name a few. Apart from this we used to organise extempore and elocution competition within the college wherein students used to participate and showcase their talent. We had special departments for every language in the college which used to look after language wise events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quite affordable as the college receives the government grant so there's no fees issues as such. Affordable for the open class as well. Quite feesible for the people as the fees are quite low for every section of the society.

Fees and Financial Aid

I availed the state scholarship which was offered by the state government for securing over 70% in the 12th Board exams. There are different scholarships given by the college depending on the criterias like the highest marks scored in particular subject in entire college.

Campus Life

5

Extra curricular activities were fun at this college. We used to have sports facilities and a dedicated Physical education teacher and lectures for the same. We have basketball courts, cricket pitch, and other facilities. Besides sports we had language wise department organising different events for students.

Hostel Facilities

5

No, I didn't opt for the hostel facility as I was a day scholar student there. But there are hostel facilities available for the student within the college campus wherein students can opt for it and is quite affordable than the other private hostels.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, alumni network and senior students are quite helpful as they provide thei insights on the various scenarios and day to day updates in the corporate world. Alumnis are well connected and regular meets are conducted after a span of 6 months in October every year.

Admission

After passing of my 10th standard, we had to fill a form, which is also called as centralised admission system. We have to give our preference name of colleges. I gave in Ness Wadia College of Commerce and was drafted on merit basis.

Faculty

4.5

Faculties were very knowledgeable and helping, they used to provide insight on day to day updates in the corporate world which helped us grow substantially. We had workshops conducted by teacher for overall development of students.

As I'm a CS student, I have started this course as medium for my graduation for doing college. i barely go to college as being focused on my other course. But as far as I've seen the faculties must improve some aspects of the curriculum and have a great relationship with students, when the student is unable to speak in any internals the faculties must not only listen but sometimes correct them with a little push which might help them and complete there work
