B.A College of Agriculture

The college is located in very good area. The campus is very clean. The staff is vey supporting and the students and also of good nature. The college was founded by Sardar Patel in 1947. The college has it's own prestige.

The course which I am studying is very good and the most demanding in future. The course is of 4 years. It is very vast and lengthy. It consists of 8 semester. The exam structure is also easy. It consists of theory and practical exams. There is 2 prelims exams of 10 marks and the end exam is of 80 Mark's.

Placement are good enough for us. This year 13 companies had interview and the students also actively took part in it. Internships is there for last year students. The most important part of degree. We have to visit different villages and meet the farmers and discuss their problems and fill up the perfoma. Then we have a educational tour of 14 days. We have research station phase industrial phase and we also have depo phase in which we have to visit the nearest fertilizer depo for 45 days. The stipend is Rs. 18000 for six months.

There are many events which are organized by our college. The students are very eager to celebrate it. Freshers for the new admission. The the days which comes like teacher day. And the main is Annual function which is of 3 days.

The fee structure is very feasible. It's very affordable for all. The college is giving free education to girls students and charges for boys are 10000 per semester. Including hostel and every other things.

The scholarship are available to the students. The government is giving scholarship for EWS,SEBC,SC and ST. The other scholarship are also given by college to students who come in top ten in the class. The loan facility is not available.

The extracurricular activities are very much. And the ground is very big and almost all the facilities are available to the students. The laboratory for students are very good with all the instruments.

Hostel facilities are very good with food. It has different hostels for all the year students. Seniors are very cooperative and there is no ragging in the hostel and college. The food is very good in mess.

The ALUMNI network of our college is very strong. Our college is organising ALUMNI FUNCTION every year. In which they call the students and give the awards and cash prize for their performance in different categories.

After passing 12th exam. I filled form of agriculture and and also the challan fee. After that it consider the merit of 12th and Mark's obtained out of GUJCET exam. The ratio was 60:40. Then the admission process starts with the merit round and the seats are 120.

The faculty is very decent and most experienced. Most of the professor are well educated and well qualified with all the degree. The all have wide knowledge of the their field. The process of teaching is also easy. And they are always helpful and kind to students.
