My College

The college is spread across 500+ acres. There is 3 months restriction policy at the start of the First year to prevent students from ragging which felt like jail. But overall it is a great place to study for an undergraduate degree.

Good but less time for preparing for Major course. After two and a half months there is a Minor exam and then after one and a half months, there is a Major exam. There is no holiday between Minor exams but there are some between Major exams.

Placement in my college is very poor. Very less companies visit my college for placement purposes. It doesn't provide internships as other educational institutions provide. Most placements are off campus.

Firstly there is a technical event TechSrijan which is for 3 days organized by IEEE and SAE. Then in the odd semester, there will be many events organized by many societies and in March there will be a cultural event Abhyuday.

The fee structure at the Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology is feasible. The fee structure is much less than other educational institutions. There is also a scholarship which students whose parents' income is less than 2 lacs.

UP scholarship offered by the UP government is a good scholarship for students for availing a sufficient amount of money. Several other scholarships support students of backward classes and females.

Labs have sufficient stuff to perform experiments but they are old and unsafe to use. Sports are also taken very lightly. The stadium is in the development process. There are no coaches for any sports and students have to depend on seniors for selection into the team.

Hostels are good but there will be an adjustment in sharing rooms among 4 students. Mess food is good but the time for getting it is more. Distance between college and hostel is a significant factor. There is a significant distance between the college and the hostel.

The Alumni network is very strong in my college. Seniors are very helpful. They provide books to study and information to study a particular subject. They also help in providing information about what is happening at the time.

I have got admission to the Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology through MET Entrance Exam in which I got 363 general ranks. After getting a good rank in MET we have to fill out a branch to the opt-online application form.

Some of the faculty are good but most of them are worst at teaching. They could not complete the course before exams. Also, the marking of some teachers is very strict. Some of them speak lightly which is not audible to backside students.
