Remarks

Good Infrastructure. Clean and big campus. Good cafeteria. Libraries are good. Hostel are well developed and good in infrastructure. Faculties are good. Negative: Faculties are not highly qualified. Less number of faculties Placements records are not good. Hostel food were not good.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum was good but not the best. Some subjects are very lengthy and difficult. Also some subjets not required but still added in curriculum. Practicals and labs are good. No sports and other subjects are added.

Placement Experience

1

No. College didn't provide any internships. Placements are very very few. Hardly 4-5 company came. Mostly are very low budget company. Offering very low package. Students get placed through outside external drives not from college.

College Events

3.5

Many events were organized in our college. Every year College Fest was organized. Music concerts are also organized during the college fest. Celebrities are invited to music concerts. Some sports events like Cricket tournaments, Kabbadi, Basketball, football, etc are organized. Dance and quiz competitions were also organized.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structures are feasible. Not so expensive nor cheap. It's average. Per semester around 40k-45k is charged for different respective courses. During admission, some security fees are also charged. Examination fees are also charged every semester. Separate hostel charges if u want. Not compulsory.

Fees and Financial Aid

College providing scholarship based on AIEEE rank. If any student has a good rank then they provide some scholarship. Loan facility not provided by the college. But students can take a loans from banks outside.

Campus Life

3.5

Extracurricular activities are good. Every week we have some labe and practicals. But equipment is not enough. Cricket, football, Kabbadi, and basketball tournaments are organized every year. Any students can participate. Also, some singing, dancing, painting, etc are organized.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are not so helpful. But few seniors are really good. They always support and guide junior students. They help during examinations and in projects. Very few seniors are placed in good company. They also helped in getting jobs and in organizing in placements drive.

Admission

Based on AIEEE rank, I select this college. For admission, they have some requirements AIEEE rank and also 10th-12th percentage marks. I was fulfilling all requirements required for admission. I applied online for admission on College websites. Submitted documents proof and I got admission.

Faculty

2.5

Some faculty were good. Mostly are average in knowledge. Also the number of faculties are less. Faculties are very punctual. They always tried to complete courses in proper time. But the problem was thier average knowledge which students faced.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chitkara University are decent for CSE AI ML. Students are allowed to sit for campus drive from about 7th sem. Many tech and service firms visit like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, and some product firms too. Offer count is good for CSE branch each year. Avg package is near 4 to 6 LPA for most roles, and top package can go much higher for select students in dev and AI roles. Around 70 to 80 percent students get some offer if they meet skill and marks rules. The place cell gives test prep, mock talk, and resume help. After my degree, my plan is to get a dev or AI role first, then grow skills and later move to a higher tech role or MS study.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester (3rd year) onwards, and internships often start from the same time. The placement season runs in the final year with companies visiting from October to March. Big companies like Amazon, Adobe, Deloitte, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Microsoft and Oracle come for drives, and many smaller firms also hire. Highest packages reported recently are up to ?1.11 crore (mainly from Amazon), and average packages across engineering are around ?8–10 lakh per annum. Placement percentage is pretty high (80–95%) if a student actively participates and prepares well. Many students get placed on Day 1 itself during drives. Most offers are in software development, IT, data roles, consulting and product teams. Top companies also give super dream offers (10 LPA+) to a good chunk of students. In short: campus placements are strong for CSE/AI-ML if I prepare well. The support from the placement cell helps with training and interview prep, but final results still depend largely on my skills.
