MANIKYALAL VERMA TEXTILE AND ENGINEERING COLLEGE REVIEW

Overall our college is very good for students and specially for TEXTILE students as placements are good. Also it is only textile college in rajasthan so competition is pretty low in comparison to other colleges.

Course based on RAJASTHAN TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY's scheme. There are a total of 8 semester divided over 4 years. For each semester exams are counducted at the end of semester. Also there are mid- terms and sessional marks.

Every year lots of companies come to college for students. One thing to keep in mind is that the college is dedicated to textile to companies come only for TEXTILE students. Lots of reputed companies like VARDHMAN, RAYMOND,. WELSPUN, etc. Arrive every year and placement ratio is good. Almost every textile students gets placed through college only.

College celebrate various events every year. Various sports events are held for students. Various cultural events are also organised like FRESHER PARTY, GAITEY , and various other cultural events. Blood donation camps, swacch bharat, and various other events are also organised.

Fees is different for different categories. There are GOVERNMENT ALLOTTED SEATS, SELF FINANCED SEATS, TFWS. Also there are special discounts in fees for girls. On an average yearly fee for SFS students is 70k , for GAS students 40k, and 9k for TFWS.

College alumni provides scholarship to students of Around 25k to students who are less privileged and poor. Also there is special discounts in fees for girl students. Also there are lot of other government schemes for SC and ST students.

Labs are well equipped in out college. For sports we have basketball, volleyball , and Cricket and football grounds. College library is big enough. There is a newly designed computer center for students.

College alumni are still connected to the college and they help in scholarship to students. Senior are really helpful and there is no ragging in our college. The environment in our college is very friendly.

Admission in our college is done through RAJASTHAN ENGINEERING ADDMISSION PROCESS. There are 4 rounds in addmission process. In first round seats are allocated to those students who are residents out of Rajasthan. The next two rounds are for local students. And final round is conducted if seats are vacant.

Faculty in college is really good and highly qualified professionals. Teachers are supportive to every student and are experts in their respective subjects. Also lab technician are well trained and qualified.
