Remarks

The celebrations were limited to some national festivals. Apart from them their were some guest lectures and workshops which were informative to some extent. Many events are also organised in collaboration with the Skill India campaign and many other government funded campaigns.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The Apparel Training and Design Center is an institute with a lot of govt. ties and vocational courses equipping them with skills for different tiers of manufacturing jobs in apparel export sector. I did a certificate course from the institute. It was a decent and learning experience.

Placement Experience

4

I already have some industry experience. The certificate course added the necessary furnishing in my skill set. Also, now I have a certified proof of my skill-set. I already have a job, but I did explored the placement process of the institute which is good.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is quite nominal at around 33K for the entire course. The facilities provided are at par with the fee structure. On top of that, they also allowed me to sit in the placement process.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarships are for students from the economically weaker section and in-house facility for the companies/factories for skill enhancement programs being organised by the companies.

Campus Life

4

Campus life was busy, we barely got any time to cater to personal things. We have to deliver a lot of assignments, and tend to many practical sessions, which was somewhat exhaustive. Many leading personalities, such as President of India, the textile industry and many more, visit the campus throughout the year.

Admission

The admission is direct for the certificate course. I was asked to produce some relevant documents, apart from that there is no process as such.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty who taught us were industry proficient. They taught us all the basic concepts of the apparel design, quality check, etc. and their practical application.
