Remarks
I was a part of the NSS team and volunteered for different field activities. Apart from that there are different social clubs on campus pioneered and managed by the students themselves. There are many cultural performances which takes place at regular intervals.
Course Curriculum Overview
There were some additional elective courses along with our core course like software testing & Quality Assurance. The course structure was very thorough and covered all the basic details of the application process. It was very crucial for me in establishing a solid base for my data science program
Fee Structure And Facilities
The BCA program was cost effective and very much affordable. I paid an annual sum of INR 18,475 for the first year. Fee for second and third year was more or less same. The facilities provided in our college are pretty decent like wi-fi connectivity, Day care facility, full-fledged labs and digital auditorium.
Campus Life
Campus Life comprised of regular involvement of student parties and their propaganda promotions. There are students who take part in the activities more than they take part in the academics. Teaching and non-teaching staff were pretty friendly. Hostel life was the best, where we had the support of our extensive network and we were capable of facing any drier situation.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is also provided by the college on a first come first serve basis. The hostel mess has both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. But the warden is pretty strict about taking food out of the mess. There are no personal rooms or anything. Boys and girls are accommodated in separate dormitories.
Admission
Admission is on the basis of the Common counselling conducted by the Calicut University for seat allocation. Seat allocation is done on the merit basis. I scored pretty decent marks in class 12, hence my admission was pretty smooth.
