The college mess is very good for hostelite. The facility provided by college are also very good, they want their student to excel and pursue their passion. The environment is quite motivating with a bit of competition which helps to grow better. The canteen is quite far from college, it creates a problem because of short break time.

The course curriculum had improved after the college has become autonomous. The course consists of 4-6 subject per semester. The course curriculum of computer engineering course is good, it covers everything from hardware to software. It contains all the subject and topics required. Also, it gives a chance to student to explore all different domains in computer engineering. It teaches everything in a step by step, well defined method. We have two exam per semester and two semester per year. The two exams are mid sem exam of 20marks and end sem exam of 60marks with 20marks internal exam summing upto 100marks per semester.

The placement at Sardar Patel Institute of Technology in 2019 is outstanding. Highest package of 42lacs bagged by a student at SPIT, advertisement was published in newspaper. The average package ranges from 8-10lacs with highest around 40lacs and lowest around 3lacs.

A lot of committee exists within SPIT. Different committee keeps on organising the events. Student actively participate in events and fests. The college committee organise two big fest every year, in which students from different colleges participate and everyone enjoys together. Every year we have a fresher party to welcome our junior.

The fee structure is a little high as compared to other colleges. It's around 1.5lac per year for open category and very low for reservation class. But you can take various scholarship if you belong to minority or economic backward class. The scholarship compensation rates between 25,000 to 50,0000.

Various scholarships are provided by government to waive some amount of tution fees. The two main scholarship are minority scholarship for minority student and Rajshree Shahu Maharaj for economical backward class. The compensation for minority scholarship is Rs.25,000 per year. The compensation for later one is Rs.50,000

The college motivates student to take part in extracurricular activites like sports, dance and elocution, debate competition. The college campus has a big ground where student can play volleyball and football. Many intra college tournament are organised on that ground. Also, our college team participate in many inter college tournaments.

The alumni meets happens many times a year where alumni comes and tells their success story and tips on becoming a better engineer and getting a good job. The seniors are sharing very helpful, they tell us what to do to improve our skillset and crack the interview.

I completed my HSC in 2016. After that, I appeared for CET(Entrance exam for degree College admission). My CET score was 177. I have applied to various college on Maharashtra government dbt portal and after fouth rounds, I got a seat in computer engineering at Sardar Patel Institute of Technology. The while application process took around 2months.

Most of the faculty are IIT passout. They are very knowledgeable and keep on trying to make subject more practical and exciting. We can anytime walk up to any faculty for doubt solving. Some of them are expertise in their domain. They also motivate student for research projects.
