My story of the college life

I did a Bachelor of Sciences in the Fashion Tech from MFT. It was a tremendous experience with the college. I learned a lot and made many friends and pursued my passion at the same time.

The course structure equipped us to pursue a wide range of careers in areas of Garment Production, Quality Assurance, Product Development, Sourcing, etc. This creates a firm foundation for the students to understand the fast changing multi-dimensional fashion industry.

Placement record is good in our college. The college invites many companies for the placement drive which is organised for the final year students in the college. Some of the frequent recruiters includes Splash, Max, Sunita Impex, JK Fashion, etc.

Our college has association with many state universities and research institutes. Many activities and events were organised in collaboration with the universities to upgrade the learning level.

My three year program cost me around 2.7 lacs at around 90K per annum. The institute was very much cost effective and the facilities provided were also good. The college has a high tech auditorium, AV enabled conference rooms.

Campus life was very apt and happening. Buildings were good and overall infra was good. College was very much a happening spot where people from different backgrounds would come together to participate in different cultural activities.

My admission was on a direct basis. There is no entrance test for the admission. You just have to apply online with the relevant documents and pay the fee.

All the faculty members are very kind. I like their teaching style. They would push us in the right direction. This is the best college in Chennai for a fashion technology program.
