Karunya School of Management (KSM) came into existence in the year 1994 and situated in Coimbatore. KSM falls under the aegis of Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences. The institute offers a wide range of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs which mainly focuses on regular Industry interaction &mentoring programs resulting in good placement opportunities. KSM admissions are either Merit-based or Entrance Test based.

KSM Courses Offered
Undergraduate Programs
KSM offers only two undergraduate courses i.e. BBA and B.Com in Professional Accounting.
Eligibility: Candidate must have passed 10+2 in any stream with Mathematics & English as compulsory subjects.
Postgraduate Programs
MBA is present in KSM in 7 specializations which are Finance, Human Resources, International Business, Marketing, Operations, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics and Entrepreneurship
Eligibility:
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent with minimum of 50% marks in any discipline from any recognized university.
- Moreover, preference is given to students who have work experience and have scored 60% in the qualifying exam.
- Entrance Exam or Qualifying exam includes CAT/MAT/XAT or university entrance test called KMAT (Karunya Management Aptitude Test)
Minimum CAT/XAT score: 50 percentile OR
Minimum MAT score: 400
Research Programs
KSM offers research programs such as Ph.D. and M.Phil in full-time and part-time mode.
Eligibility:
- For Ph.D., the candidate must have completed their Masters with a minimum of 55% marks in any discipline. 5% relaxation is given to SC/ST category.
- For M.Phil, minimum eligibility for a candidate is to have a Master Degree in Arts, Science, Computer Application and Management of any recognized university or institution.
- Candidate for admission in research program have to go through university Entrance Test following by rounds of interview and then final students will be selected for admission.
