Karunya School of Management is a Tamil Nadu-based renowned and AICTE-approved private institution that was established in 1994 and offers Bachelor, Master, and Research Programs in disciplines like Business Administration, Social Work, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics and Entrepreneurship, Management Studies, etc. The college is a child entity of the Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences and admission to its degree courses is granted to individuals based on last year's exam’s merit and scores of entrance tests such as CAT, MAT, and XAT.

For final selection, candidates' schooling academic records, performance in the entrance test, and personal interview along with work experience are considered thoroughly. And for both Ph.D. and M.Phil programs, a separate entrance test called KMAT and rounds of interviews are conducted by the KSM. Recognition and approvals from the Ministry of HRD - Govt. of India, ARIIA, I-GAUGE, and NIRF further enhance the authenticity of the college courses. Karunya School of Management Doctorate Eligibility Criteria

Below mentioned criteria must be met by candidates who wish to pursue either a Ph.D. or an M.phil from KSM Coimbatore.

For Ph.D., a Postgraduate Degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA from an approved university is needed.
Candidates belonging to reserved categories will get a relaxation of 5% marks.
