Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology is the best College in Western Uttar pradesh. This is not i am saying this is the statement of all the students of MIET, and this is due to only their dedication and hard work towards Education.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course was designed according to meet the Requirements of Industries or corporate life, the course was perfectly designed the only problem with the Curriculum is that the number of practical labs are very less, Overall everything is fine. The Exam Structure is very good in 1 semester you have to give Two Sessional Exams, 1 Pre University test and One Semester Exam that's all.
Placement Experience
College provides On Campus placement drives, this year more than 100+ companies visited in the college campus and recruits a large no students also the college organised two pool campus drives for other College students so that they can also make their career by providing them opportunities.
College Events
A large number of events and fests are organised in the college campus every year so that the students can show / enhance their skills by managing and taking Part in the event's. Some of these Events are Robochamps, Glitz, Kolahaal etc are the major events of college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The Fee structure is Average like other College there is not a major difference. As we all know that on an average the Annual fee of B.tech is 1,00,000 on the other hand the fees of other courses are less, here I am talking about Under Graduate Programs.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes Each year the Government provides Scholarship to Students the scholarship amount depends on your Economic Condition and Your Caste if you belongs to SC/ST then you will get 90,000 Rs. or more than thatand if you belongs to General/OBC caste then you will get 60,000Rs. or more than that.
Campus Life
College also focuses on extra curricular activities, Various curricular activities includes like sports, hobby labs, and committee which helps in solving social issues, like providing free education to poor people, food and clothes donation and many more, camps are organised for these types of problems.
Hostel Facilities
No, I am a Day Scholar. But my friends are Hostlers, According to them the Hostel facilities are very good. The Rooms are Clean and Hygienic Proper Ventilation, Power Backup is very good Mess food is not upto that level but it was Average.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior's are very supportive, they understands their junior feelings and also they respect their feelings. They also help their junior's in solving their problems. And after the college life they are still connected to their junior's.
Admission
When I Completed my Schooling, I started my search for a good College. There are different parameters on the behalf of which I started looking colleges which are best according to these parameters these parameters are placement opportunities, practical labs, extra curricular activities. Then after researching on these parameters i got my College, I visited to the college and confirm my seat in Electronics and Communication branch through direct Admission as that time seats are available.
Faculty
Faculty was Excellent, with very Deep knowledge of their fields. The Faculty of the College provides deep knowledge of the Subject and helps in understanding each and every topic in simple words. Every Faculty member keep sight on each student of the class.
