If you are applying for a Master of Nursing at University of Calgary the eligibility criteria are as follows.
- You need to be eligible for active nursing registration in Alberta. Students registered to pursue this program need to provide proof of active CARNA registration or equivalent each year.
- To be a registered nurse, you need to complete a four-year bachelor’s degree usually in Nursing along with a one-year undergraduate course in Research Methodology or Statistics.
- You also need to complete a CPR certification at Basic Rescuer or Basic Cardiac Life Support or ‘C’ level.
- You need to have completed two years of full-time study (10 courses or 60 units) with a GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 point scale.
Also, since you are from a non-English speaking country, you will also need to prove English proficiency through a valid IELTS/TOFEL/any other equivalent test score.
