- For CGPA conversion when required: Use the UGC standard formula — % ÷ 9.5 = CGPA equivalent. So 65% ? 6.84 CGPA. Mention "converted as per UGC formula" explicitly.
- GU can issue a Conversion Certificate if you request one from the exam section — this officially converts your marks to CGPA for external use.
- For each subject, passing requires minimum 40% per paper (theory component and internal separately in some programs).
If you need your aggregate for a government job application: Use (marks obtained / total marks) × 100 directly from your consolidated marksheet.
