Around the college, you'll find plenty of affordable eateries. But you have to check out Cafe New York, Shiv Sagar Restaurant, and Paramount Cafe. The food there is impressive. If restaurants aren't your thing, just head to the beach barefoot and enjoy treats like Cold Pani-puri, Pav-Bhaji, Sandwiches, Kulfi with Rabri, and the best Golas in the world.

I’ve had a pretty decent experience at Wilson College while pursuing my Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Psychology). The curriculum is quite engaging, especially since I’ve always been interested in understanding human behavior. However, I feel like some of the content taught in the first two years was outdated and not very applicable to today’s world.

The fee structure was affordable, starting at around 7,590 in the first year. Campus life is vibrant, with fests like Olé and Hope, but the faculty could be more approachable as they sometimes seem busy and less attentive.

I'm currently a student at Williams, and I genuinely enjoy my time here. If you're deciding between colleges, I'd definitely recommend considering it. I'm not trying to convince you, just sharing what I like and dislike about it.

The academics are top-notch. The attention to students is incredible. Professors always know your name, and they provide a ton of support, like free tutoring or extra office hours. For such a small school, there's a wide range of courses to choose from. The tutorial system is fantastic. The academic environment isn't cutthroat. Unlike what I've heard about other places where students compete by withholding help, that's not the vibe here. Everyone works really hard, though. The coursework is tough and takes time, similar to Ivy League standards. I've never had an easy class, but every class has been really engaging.

Because students are so focused and the school is in a remote area, the social scene might not be as lively if you're expecting a large university vibe. Parties and the hookup scene seem mostly geared toward athletes. There seems to be a social gap between athletes, who make up about 40% of the student body, and others. This division is visible in the party scene too. Fraternities were banned in the 70s, and athletic teams sort of filled that gap, at least in my view. But not everyone would agree. Still, the divide isn't strict. I have lots of athlete friends despite not being one myself.

There are plenty of extracurriculars besides sports. Plus, there are great work-study opportunities if you look for them. I've had several research jobs as a younger student, which isn't common elsewhere. The food is quite good compared to other colleges, with lots of options. The student body is very progressive, though sometimes a bit too much for my taste. For instance, we canceled a speaker this fall due to her antifeminist views, but this kind of thing happens at many top schools. Students tend to drink and smoke a bit less here than at other places, but there's still a fair amount if you're interested.

Finally, the financial aid here is excellent. I received a generous package, which was a big factor in my decision to attend.
