How are the patient load and clinical exposure at LLRM Medical College?

The patient load at LLRM Medical College is quite good, especially during our internship at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Hospital, where the patient flow is above average. As a B.Sc Nursing student, we get to experience different wards, OTs, and emergency departments, which really enhances our knowledge of various diseases. This clinical exposure has been invaluable for my learning.

I’ve noticed that the clinical exposure at LLRM Medical College is rather effective. As a B.Sc Nursing student, we have this unique chance to get posted in different wards and emergency sections, which helps us understand a range of medical issues.

The hands-on experience really complements our theoretical learning and is essential for our development as future healthcare professionals.

At LLRM Medical College, the hands-on clinical experience is excellent because there are many patients with a wide range of illnesses. You'll encounter a variety of patients who speak different languages, which is great practice for handling diverse situations in your medical career.

This exposure is crucial for doctors to learn how to effectively interact with all kinds of patients.

LLRM Medical College is among the top medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh. It serves around 12 districts in the western part of the state, which means its hospital, SVBP Hospital, sees a lot of patients. The main hospital building handles the OPD, OT, and all usual activities.

There is a separate building for radiology tests located to one side of the main hospital. Behind the main building, you'll find the emergency and trauma center. Next to the trauma center, a new super specialty center is being built and should be ready by the end of the year.

The college consistently has a good number of patients, maybe not as many as in Delhi, but still plenty. This provides students with a lot of chances for hands-on clinical experience if they're eager to learn.

In my experience as an MBBS student, the patient load during the internship after the 4.5 years of study is substantial. We get to work in the hospital associated with our college, which prepares us for real-world medical challenges. The stipend during the internship is around 12000 rupees, and it’s a great opportunity to apply what we’ve learned in a practical setting.
