You can't really put IMI and MDI in the same bracket. MDI Gurgaon is considered a top-tier school, while IMI is generally seen as a tier-three institution. MDI is more on par with schools like XLRI, IIM Kozhikode, IIM Indore, IIFT, and SPJIMR. Meanwhile, IMI is often compared to IMT Ghaziabad, MICA, FORE School, TAPMI, IIM Amritsar, and IIM Nagpur.

  • At IMI Delhi, the highest salary for the 2024 batch is about 70 lakh annually, while MDI's top offer is around 60 lakh.
  • On average, IMI grads earn about 16.6 lakh per year, compared to MDI's average of 25.5 lakh.
  • Both schools are located in prime areas, which is a plus for students.

It seems like your question could use a bit more detail, especially when you mention IIM. There was a time when saying IIM immediately brought to mind the top 7 IIMs in India. But now, with IIMs popping up in almost every state, the IIM tag carries a wider range of impressions.

If you're thinking of MDI, I can tell you which IIMs are worth comparing. IIMs like A, B, C, L, and K are great choices if you're comparing them to MDI. For other IIMs, going with MDI might be a better decision. Hope this helps.
