IMI Bhubaneswar admission to the flagship MBA program is offered on the basis of a valid CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ CMAT score. Candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of IMI Bhubaneswar. The application fee for application is INR 1000. The CAT cutoff for PGDM course is expected to remain 80 percentile for this year similar to the previous one. Past academic performance, work experience, essay writing, group discussion, extempore, and online personal interview (PI) are also considered for selection.
IMI Bhubaneswar offers a 2-Year online Program known as PGDM (Online). While, PGDM (Online) Admission is based on Essay Writing and Personal Interview. Securing admission in FPM is based on the Research Aptitude Test (RAT) followed by the Essay Writing and Personal Interview round. RAT is conducted by the institute itself. Candidates with a valid score of CAT/GMAT/GRE/UGC NET/CSIR/NBHM are exempted from RAT.

IMI Bhubaneswar PGDM Selection Process 2024
- The institute shortlists students based on their scores in CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT exams and past academic performance.
- The shortlisted candidates have to appear for online PI.
- IMI Selection Index is based on CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT score, past academic record, Group discussion, Extempore speaking, Essay Writing, and Personal interview.
- The finally selected candidates will receive an offer letter in their email.
- Foreign students, PIO, and NRI-sponsored candidates are selected based on the score in the GMAT exam.
- IMI Bhubaneswar accepts applications from Company sponsored candidates as per the selection process.
- Candidates being sponsored must submit a letter from the sponsoring organization. The letter/undertaking will be required to be submitted at the Personal Interview stages.
- The selection process will be conducted at centers in Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Amritsar, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Jammu, Kolkata, Kanpur, Lucknow, Mumbai, Ranchi, Raipur, Varanasi and Visakhapatnam. Candidates should indicate their 1st and 2nd preference of interview center in the application form. If a candidate’s preferred center is not allotted for any reason, the candidate will be informed of the change.

The application form is available online and to fill it, applicants have to follow some simple steps which are listed as follows:

- Click on the “PGDM Apply” link present on the home page.
- Register yourself by providing all the necessary details.
- Now log in to your account using the ID and password generated after a successful registration.
- Proceed to fill the application form with all the necessary details.
- Pay the application fee of INR 1000/-
- Finally, submit the application form.
- Mode of Payment - Candidates can make the application fee payment either through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card or through Demand Draft in favor of International Management Institute, payable at New Delhi.

- 16-acre lush green campus with beautiful colors all around
- Academic building and hostels are in walking distances
- Food is good, Nescafe cafeteria and a student managed knick knack shop is also there to satisfy your midnight hunger
Dislikes
- Placements here are majorly managed by students, which can be good and bad at the same time depending on their credibility
- It's located almost 15 km from the main city, so there's almost no urban facilities to avail
- Major food delivering chains such as McD and Dominos do not deliver here
Admission:
I'll start with admission process, which here is a breeze, fill the form, one interview round, and you're in.
Eligibility criteria is 65+ in CAT/XAT
I loved the campus, the companies that visit here are also similar to what i'm looking for, so this became my preferred choice.
Other colleges which i had in my go to list were Welingkar Mumbai and Bimtech Noida.
I faced rejection from Bitsom, because though they accept forms from 75 percentilers but they reject them just before interview stage.

- The faculties have good experience and teaching skills
- The mess food is also good as of what is expected as stereotype.
Dislikes
- The classes some time are too much to handle
- The n number of rules and regulations regarding the hostal
- The basketball court and cricket ground could have been better
Admission:
For admission I applied on IMI portal where I submitted my CAT and XAT score and got shortlisted for GD and PI. The cut off is around 65-70 so I got selected and then I paid the first installment after which I started my college

- Bathroom is also good , rarely there is any water related issue.

- College doesn't spend much of events and fests

The eligibility is 60 percentile in Cat and 75 in Cmat and also there is trimester based exams and there is 3 months gap will be provided between ending of 1st year and starting of 2nd and students will complete there Summer Internship between that tenure.

- Mess food can be improved. Some days it's good some days it's not.
- The campus is situated on the outskirts of the city

The admission process was smooth.
It includes a Group Discussion round followed by a Written ability test and Personal Interview.
The cutoff for CAT is 70%ile.
The college also accepts other entrance exams such as XAT and CMAT.
There are reservation benefits as well as scholarship too.

- I loved the hostel as it has AC rooms and washing mechine room. Guards are there to take care of us.
- It is a beautiful campus with lush greenery.
- Faculties are extremely helpful and genuine.
Dislikes
- Attendance pressure. Sometimes it gets too much to handle.
- Hectic schedule. Sometimes it becomes exhausting.
- Talks and programs on weekend . This is honestly just annoying.
Admission:
As I study PGDM in IMI Bhubaneswar, I opted here through CMAT where I had 89.85 percentile. I applied here and then got interview call. It is a profile based college so cut off is not the only thing upon which you will be evaluated. I got PI call within a week. I had my PI . Basic questions were asked. As I am a student of English literature inwas asked about that as well. Then I had WAT where I was given a topic and I had to write immediately by sharing my screen. Within a week or so I got my call letter. Considering the brand and also residential campus I opted for it.

- My batchmates are very serious and focused to their goals.
- The faculties are very helpful and cooperative with the students.

- We need to get back to the campus before 8PM.
Admission:
The eligibility criteria of the course was 60+ percentile. The application form and the various details regarding the fee structure is available in the college website. There is scholarship opportunities for the reservation class in they are in the merit list. Exams are held in or after 1 or 1.5 months interval along with the presentations. The addmission process is very smooth.

- Food is decent, can be improved more depending on taste
- Location is far away from main city so sometimes its difficult to manage basic amenities
- Transportation facilties are difficult to access sometimes

FIRSTLY, YOU HAVE TO GET THE REQUIRED PERCENTILE IN ANY OF THE EXAM LIKE CAT,CMAT,XAT.
THEN YOU HAVE TO GOTHROUGH THE GD AND THEN FINAL INTERVIEW.
AFTER THAT YOU WILL GET THE OFFER LETTER AND YOU HAVE TO SUBMIT THE REQUIRED AMOUNT.
