How are the placements for Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Petroleum Engineering) at DIT University Dehradun?

Google, Directi, IBM, Adobe, Nestle, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Ashok Leyland, Cognizant, Yamaha, Reliance Industries are the top recruiters. They offer a package for both international and national placements that was highest of 25 Lakhs last year.

Well in it sector there are more than 150+ company come and go with lots of placements but what I saw is there is minm no. Of placements in core company for the petroleum studens. That means petroleum placements is not very good

In my course around 20-30% of placement is done till now and will be continued further Highest salary is around 3 Lac per month outside India in mount meru company. and 15000rs min Reliance, Mount meru, Focus energy Mud logging engineer, analytic data engineer 21 Lac per annum and 1. 8 Lac per annum lowest 90% in reliance, ongc, iocl.

Placements of the Computer Science Department is quite good in college. Almost 70%-80% students get placed. Placements of the Mechincal Department is average,40% - 50% students get placed. If a student is not able to get an internship by himself then the college provides for the internship of that student. However no stipends are given for those internships.

In my stream presently, as far as core company is concerned only two company offers the placement and one company given the package of 17.6 lacs p.a. but the student placed is less but I hoped this will be increased at every year.
