How are the placements at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (Amritapuri)?

Placement oppertunities are often given during 4th year of our course. Average package is around 3Lakhs per year. Students getting placements are often high but most of the reject the offer for higher studies inorder to get a higher package.

Campus placements are offered by our college. Most of our seniors from our department got placed in good companies. Internship is also provided . So focus on skill development through out your foour years

The placements start from sem6. Companies like google, amazon, microsoft, infosis, tcs, cisco,etc. The highest package of last year was 60lpa and the average package is 8lpa. The percentage of students who got job is above 88. My plan is to get a job in campus selections.

From semester 6 onwards people become eligible to campus placements. Many companies visit our college like IBM, Amazon microsoft Intel Wipro Infosys Accenture etc . Around 90%of people are placed. The average salary is 750000

The eligibility criteria for placement is to secure the traditional 7.5 cgpa but if you want a secure shortlisted, i would prefer yall to get around 8.0 - 8.5. Some of the MNCs who came for the placement intereviews were Google, Tesla, Schneider ELectric, ABB etc. THe highest package the student got this year was around 70 lakhs and it was in infosys and if we talk about the average package its around 10-15lahs. Around 50%+ students will get placed in higher componies while rest might go for mtech or get placed in low profile companies
