How are the hostels at Azim Premji University?

Rooms are shared by two, have two study tables, two almiras, to chairs and two single bed, with three lights and 4 charging sockets with one window at the wall. The mess food can be much better, but both veg and non veg options are available all day.

The unergraduate programme is compulsorly residential. The residence building is a 40 floor tower that is separated into girls, boys and gender neutral floors. The rooms are shared between two people and come with cupboards, tables, chairs etc. The meal quality is average as the quantitiy served is a little low for university students who eat considerably well.

Hostel rooms are quite decent. Mess food is really bad. Even after so many complaints, I see no change in the quality of the food. The quantity also is not justified as per the price of the food. But staying in hostel is feasible as the campus is Isolated from city but you can get flat on rent at around 5-6kms radius.

The hostel is 40 storey building inside the campus so it will be safe. And you have to share your room with one person. If you want a pg then there is nearby area where you can find society. The meal is very cheap, healthy and good
