How is the faculty at NIT Hamirpur?

Faculties are quite approachable, you can just directly go to the faculty's cabin and talk to them. There are 4 exams in a year, 2 per semester (mid sem and end Sem), there is no such marking scheme and it completely depends on faculty. Exams are sometimes a bit tricky.

All the teacher are well qualified. Some of the had done the phd from IIT Roorke.And also have years of experience in teaching. Marking scheme is like 20 marks for Internal 30 marks for mid semester 50 marks for end semester Total 100 marks for a semester.

Like taking about mechanical department , we have a quite good ratio of faculty to student ratio . In our class there are 126 peole which are divided in 2 section . Each section is taught by different faculties. Faculties are little strict and not that much student friendly but every faculty is well graduated from reputed college and has ample of work experience and they teach in a good manner with animations . But they are very helpful when it comes to interships or placement. Professor Sehgal is the best faculty I like as he teaches the course KOM in structured manner which is well understood by all the people in the classroom even the average people gets it . And we have 2 semesters per year and exams happen 4 times . One mid sem and one end sem per semester. Professors easily give supply and students can give supplementary exams and pass it. Course curriculum is as per new education policy and is very relevant.

Faculty is very expert in their disciplines and they generally impart quality education to individuals or future student . Marking scheme include 30 marks from mid and 50 marks from end sem and 20 marks from the internals.

(d) faculty to the student ratio is 40:10. (e) Mr. Moolchand was the faculty at that time I never liked him because of their rude behavior.
