Great faculties. Theres a great student teacher relationship. There are 3 minor exams each of 20 marks per subject. Out of these 3, best of 2 are taken for endsem. And the major exam is of 60 marks. This is good and bad as well. That is there's academic pressure. So you have to study and study. But you barely have time for refreshment

Faculty to student ratio is 1:8
Geetha K Vemuganti, our Dean, is one of a great scientist and her teaching style is very simple and excellent. All faculties are good and they have different different research areas.
There will be 3 internal exams and one major or external exam in each semester. Everyone can clear each exams easily.

120 students(only 1st year), faculties 30+ . Teachers are very helpful also teaching quality is good.
There are 3 internals of 20 marks among them best 2 internals marks will be considered out of 40. Final exam will be of 60 marks. So, total marks 100 (60 for final +40 for internals).
Syllabus is not so much tough but the structure is like any other competitive exams like NET,GATE etc. So, no need to prepare seperately for those competitive exams. This university is more likely research based not placement based.

There are around 20 Professors in School of Economics. All of them are specialized in various fields in the subject which made the department more dynamic.
Faculty in UoH are very approachable and offers more scope for interactions in subject matters.
They offer internships and various projects across India.
One need to take 4 courses per semester. Out of 4, 1-2 will be compulsory. And also need to complete 2 foundation courses in interdisciplinary manner.
Internals : End Semester :: 40:60
90 percent of students clear the exam.

I just completed only 1st sem. In that we have 7 courses(like subjects). So in 7 we have 3 labs. Overall we have nearly 6 members as faculty.
I like professor phani sir. We always supports us in everything related to study and we bring up innovative ideas among us and we make us to participate in many educational programs . He teaches very very well . We understand very well.
Eveyone are good i like everyone. there is no such thing like i dont like some particular one .
Every one are good at their respective teaching styles but i like the most professor sudharshan phani sir.
Coming to exams we will have mid exams and finals . Exam standards are powerful like if we study well any listen classes we can easily score good marks. Fail we will be failed if we dont study . They give questions based on which are discussed in classes.
