Here are some details on the ETC department’s placement statistics-
Companies like Texas Instruments recruit ETC students from IIEST at around 15 LPA. But such offers are very rare. They form the highest packages of that placement season. The average package for ETC students is between 5-6 LPA.
Core companies visit the IIEST campus in small numbers. So students look to PWC, Deloitte, and Data Analytics firms like HSBC for placements. Majority of companies are open to ETC students. Software and Analytics companies are always open for ETC.
The ETC batches are small in number, so students get placed very quickly. The placement rate of ETC is nearly equal to that of CS. The ratio between the number of offers and total batch students is very good for ETC at IIEST.
Thus, placements are decent for the ETC branch at IIEST Shibpur. The average package offered is around 5-6 LPA for ETC students.
ISB Hyderabad has a strong track record of successful placements. As of the current placement drive for the PGP batch of 2023, a total of 1578 offers have been made, including 36 international offers, with an average package of INR 34.21 LPA. Additionally, over 14% of the offers were for leadership and general management roles.
The average salary for the mid-80 % of students was INR 32.76 LPA, which is a 20.8% increase from the previous year. The placement drive saw participation from 393 recruiters, with notable companies such as Axis Bank, KPMG, Wipro Ltd, and CK Birla Group among them.
You cannot exactly determine the average CTC of a fresher in IIM Kashipur. 150+ companies visited the campus for placements. Out of these, only a few had the criteria of minimum work experience and most of them granted the freshers equal opportunities.
The average of a fresher would not be much less compared to the average mentioned in the placement report ie., INR 15.21 LPA. Some of the freshers also grabbed PPOs/PPIs and didn't sit for Finals. So if you are a fresher, you can rest assured that it won’t affect your placement opportunities.
Despite everything, IIM Calcutta is a much better business school overall than IIM Lucknow, regardless of the field. However, if you do not receive an offer from Calcutta, you may consider Lucknow. Some companies may not shortlist you because there will be candidates with far superior academic credentials. However, this is not a sufficient reason to avoid attending an IIM. You will have numerous opportunities to enhance your CV within the b-school through academic performance, winning b-school competitions (which often leads to a direct PPI), participating in PORs and other extracurricular activities, live projects, and so on.
Regardless of your prior academic performance, you will almost certainly be better off with an MBA from IIM Calcutta or Lucknow than without one, assuming you don't waste the two years in b-school doing nothing.

IIM Amritsar has made its name in the IIM family due to the following
All these achievements have made it among the fastest-growing IIMs. So I don’t understand why people keep questioning and judging an Institute of National Importance.
Now coming to your question, yes RBI did visit the IIM Amritsar campus for recruitment last year for Summer Internships but the exact role and package were not revealed to the public. Try to get in touch with some batchmates to get this info.
