SAGE University Bhopal or SAGE University Indore would be the best for B.Pharm?

S
SyntheticStarlight Posted On : March 11th, 2026

SAGE University Bhopal stands out with its strong internship opportunities, having companies like Cipla and Lupin offering stipends of 20,000 to 25,000 per month, whereas SAGE University Indore has a more traditional campus life with events and clubs but lacks detailed info on internships. Both universities have approachable faculty, but Bhopal's faculty-to-student ratio is slightly better, enhancing personal attention. Curriculum-wise, both colleges are aligned with PCI standards, but Bhopal's emphasis on practical skills through conferences gives it an edge. I’d personally recommend SAGE University Bhopal for a more robust career-oriented experience, especially if you value internships and industry exposure.

How are the placements in LPU for bpharma? Is it worth it or not?

VB
Vinima Bhola Posted On : July 2nd, 2025

Particularly when compared to private universities in India, Lovely Professional University's (LPU) B.Pharm placements are robust and generally regarded as worthwhile.

Particulars

LPU B.Pharm Placement Data

Highest Package

8.40 LPA

Average Package (Top 50%)

7.33 LPA

Total Recruiters

40+

No. of Dream & Super Dream Offers

120+

If you want a private university setting, industry exposure, and robust placement support, LPU is a good option for your B.Pharm. Given the recruiter network and placement statistics, the investment is typically regarded as worthwhile.
Although the highest packages are competitive for pharmacy graduates, they are not as high as those for engineering or management streams.

Individual results are dependent on student performance, abilities, and initiative, just like at any other university.

Can i get admission in b.pharma my percentage is 47 percentage ?

VB
Vinima Bhola Posted On : July 1st, 2025

No, you are not eligible to enrol in Amity University Gwalior's B.Pharm programme because of your 47% grade in the 12th grade.

  • With 47%, you fall short of Amity University Gwalior's minimum eligibility requirements for a B.Pharm. This 50% cutoff is strictly enforced by the university, and their official admissions policy makes no mention of exceptions.
  • You can look into other private colleges in India that might accept applicants with a 45% or higher.
  •  If eligibility requirements are more flexible, you might also think about enrolling in a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) and then pursuing lateral entry into a B.Pharm programme after completing the diploma.

Where can I find the B.Pharm admission form for IIT BHU Varanasi, and what is the application process?

Muskan Agrahari Posted On : June 25th, 2025

Yes, IIT (BHU) Varanasi also conducts a B.Pharm course, but curiously the course is named B.Tech in Pharmaceutical Engineering & Technology. If you wish to apply, no special BHU admission form is required for this course.

This is how you can use it:
Step 1: First, apply for JEE Main at [jeemain.nta.ac.in].

Step 2: Clear JEE Main and apply for JEE Advanced at [jeeadv.ac.in].

Step 3: After clearing JEE Advanced, go to [josaa.nic.in] and participate in JoSAA counselling.

Step 4: As you select your options, select "B.Tech in Pharmaceutical Engineering & Technology" at IIT BHU (this is what you want!).

You don't need to complete any independent IIT BHU or BHU application form. JEE and JoSAA take care of everything.

Does BHU offer only B.Pharm (Ayurveda), or does it also offer a regular B.Pharm course?

Muskan Agrahari Posted On : June 25th, 2025

Actually, BHU also provides a regular B.Pharm course and a B.Pharm with a specialization in Ayurveda.

If you are interested in contemporary pharmacy, BHU also has a 4-year regular B.Pharm course in allopathic pharmacology, pharmaceutics, medicinal chemistry, etc. Admission is generally through NEET or other entrance exams.

However, BHU also provides a special B.Pharm (Ayurveda) course that deals with Ayurvedic medicines, herbal preparations, and the principles of traditional pharmacology. The process of admission to this course is carried out through a separate entrance examination.

Briefly speaking, BHU has two courses: one in contemporary pharmacy and the other in Ayurvedic pharmacy. You can choose either one of them based on your interest and background.
