What should I prefer, CSE in LNMIIT or ME in IIITDM, Jabalpur?
The LNM Institute of Information Technology (LNMIIT) is a Deemed University approved by All India Council for Technical Education and accredited with Grade A by NAAC. In 2019, The Week has ranked LNMIIT #4th in North Zone among Non-government Technical Universities, #7th in India among Non-government Technical Universities, and #35th in India among Universities.IIITDM Jabalpur is approved by University Grants Commission, furthermore, the NIRF has ranked IIITDM #75th among top engineering colleges in India.
Eligibility:
LNMIIT
- The eligibility for B.Tech CSE at LNMIIT is 60% marks in 10+2 with an aggregate of 60%. The selection criteria depend on the JEE Main scores.
- For M.Tech CSE, the applicant should qualify GATE or LNMIIT based written score followed by an interview and passed B.E/B.Tech with a minimum of 60%.
IIITDM
- For B.Tech ME admission, the candidate should be JEE Main qualified as well as passed 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects.
- Admission for M.Tech ME is based on GATE scores and eligibility criteria of having B.Tech with minimum 60% marks or CPI/CGPA 6.0.
- For Ph.D. in ME, the selection criteria are GATE and the applicant should have Master’s (M.A, MSc, M.Tech, etc) with minimum 60% marks or CPI/CGPA 6.0

Is it worthy to get admission into IIITM Gwalior or IIITDM Jabalpur for an MTech in CSE in terms of placement?
One of my close friends is an alumnus of IIITM Gwalior and here is what he had to say about their M.Tech in CSE program.
- IIITM Gwalior offers a five-year integrated program which is called Integrated Post Graduate (IPG). It is in the form of 3+2 and therefore, for the first three years the course is the same for everyone. For the next two years, you can either opt for M.Tech or MBA. So the course is a combination of B.Tech and M.Tech/MBA, whichever you opt for. When the institution was established, this was not so common.
- The institution provides a plethora of opportunities in the fields of self-learning, innovation, and application.
- The campus is huge. 10 years ago, it was in its budding stage and was exploring various possibilities of growth in aspects like infrastructure, facilities, and faculties. Today, it stands as a well-established institution.
- You will find a lot of opportunities at IIITM Gwalior since it is an IT institute. It all depends on you, how well you make use of it.
- Many of the alumni of the institute are working for top technology firms. This clearly shows how well the course structure is and how competitive, as well as corporate culture, is instilled in the students as a part of the curriculum.
- The infrastructure that the college has built in the last few years is astonishing. From sports facilities to computer labs, arts and drama, and all other forums, everything is amazing.
- Each hosteller is allotted a single room. You do not have to share your room with anyone.

What should I choose, chemical engineering at NIT Calicut or ECE at IIIT Jabalpur?
Chemical Engineering and ECE, both the branches are in demand. The major scope of Chemical Engineering is in chemical, food processing, pharma, medical industries, oil, and gas, etc.
The major scope of ECE is in android, mobile, and telecommunication. The majority of the students prefer ECE because of two reasons. The first reason being comfort. Secondly, after acquiring skills in programming languages, it is easy to switch to the IT or software field.

Should I join IIITDM Jabalpur or IIIT Guwahati for CSE?
There are numerous factors to consider before enrolling in any institute.
In terms of curriculum, it is assumed that the CSE curriculum at IIIT Guwahati is on par with that of any other institute of national importance. Many of the seniors landed good jobs in MNCs, and despite the location taboo, they were able to find suitable placements.
Because Jabalpur is in Central India, more companies will undoubtedly visit the campus. However, you are aware that they are also in the design and management fields. In contrast, the IIT Guwahati curriculum is completely different from theirs in that regard (it includes courses such as optimization techniques which IIITDM does not possibly have). In CSE, a greater emphasis is placed on software development and machine learning. So if you want to be in the middle of nature, join IIIT Guwahati. Whoever said this might be an immature student in their field of study, perhaps a freshman or a sophomore.
It is recommended to compare the faculty research areas and qualifications in both institutes as well as the infrastructure, placement record, and curriculum. Then you'll be able to choose which type of institute you want to attend.
Which is a better option, IIITDM Jabalpur ECE or IIIT Pune CSE?

- NIT Pune is located in the city and has better connectivity to metro cities via flights.
- IIITDMJ is located around 8 km away from Jabalpur city, and the connectivity of Jabalpur with metro cities through flights is not as good as Pune.
Considering these factors, you can decide which institute suits your requirements best. If you are looking for good placements, NIT Pune could be the better option. If you are interested in research and want to pursue an MTech course, IIITDMJ could be the better option.
What documents should be submitted during the physical reporting in JoSAA? I have been allotted a seat in IIITDM Jabalpur.

Which has better infrastructure and placements, IIITM Gwalior or IIIDTM Jabalpur?
IIITM Gwalior is a much better choice than IIITDM Jabalpur. IIITM Gwalior will be a great choice if the rank of students is around 11k and they are into the IT branch.
- It has a very beautiful green and pollution-free campus. The campus is environment friendly with no pollution-causing vehicles to move across the campus.
- The infrastructure is quite good as per the total number of students enrolled.
- The campus includes centralized AC lecture halls, an open-air theatre, and a large sports complex for the students. The institute has all provision for sports from lawn tennis to swimming.
Coming on to the placement scenarios, this year the placements have been amazing at IIITM Gwalior:
- Two students were placed in Worksop with packages around INR 40 LPA.
- Four students got an offer in Amazon with packages around INR 27.5 LPA.
- The highest package offered by Directi was INR 27.5 LPA.
- Other reputed companies that visited the campus for placement drives were Samsung, TCS, Paytm, Acxiom, American Express, IBM, etc.

Talking of IIIT Bhubaneswar, its CSE branch is the best for engineering prospects. In comparison, IIITDM had the best growth in terms of academics and extracurricular activities. At the same time, NIT Srinagar enjoys a veteran image with the 36th rank for engineers by India Today.

Which is better BS Economics at IISER Bhopal, BTech Chemical Engineering at IIPE Vizag or BTECH Mechanical at IIITDM Jabalpur. I would prefer an interdisciplinary course.

Which will be better, a 4-year CS course (starting this year) at IIITM Gwalior, CS at IIITDM Jabalpur, or Electrical at MANIT Bhopal?
A 4-year CSE from IIITDM Jabalpur will be better than that of IIIT Gwalior. It is a fairly new branch at the institute and students of this branch compete with 5-year IPG steam students which are the main ruler of the institute.
