My cousin's brother is doing BTech CSE in Data Science and according to him, LPU is the best university to pursue AI courses. The university currently offers AI as a specialisation for BTech CSE courses. 

The course is comprehensive and is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in AI. Students also have access to modern laboratories for practising their skills and developing new ones. The faculty members are also well-qualified and they have ties with companies like Futurense and UpGrad. 

The BTech AI courses are promising for students aspiring for a career in AI or related fields like machine learning, deep learning, neural networks and more. The BTech CSE with AI and Data Engineering students has seen more than 900 recruiters with the average package being INR 14.97 Lakhs for the top 10% of students. The per semester program fee is around INR 2 Lakhs.

My friend completed his BCA lateral entry from Lovely Professional University (LPU) and through his experience, I can confirm that it is one of the best colleges in India for BCA, whether it is a general program or lateral entry. The course aims to develop strong programming skills in students for developing efficient applications. 

The BCA fee is designed to provide computer application education at prospective rates for prospective students. The university also provides financial aid or scholarships to students with excellent records or valid entrance exam scores. 

The BCA lateral entry is a 2-year-long course consisting of 4 semesters. Admission is offered in two phases. The program fee per semester is INR 80,000. They also have to pay INR 4500 examination fee. The total fee to pursue BCA lateral entry at LPU is INR 3.20 Lakhs.

VIT offers BTech courses in around 20 specializations. Some of the popular specializations at VIT for BTech courses are AI, Cyber Security, ML, CSE, etc. The BTech fees is divided into 2 groups which is as follows.

Group A – BTech (Civil, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and Fashion Technology)

Group B- All Other BTech Specializations

According to the previous year’s VIT Vellore cutoff category-wise, you can get a seat in VIT Vellore in the CSE branch as you have rank under 27,000. You fall under category 4 based on the previous year’s cutoff.

Based on the previous year's cutoff and closing ranks, the cutoff rank for the CSE branch is 8,000 and the ECE branch is 16,000. VITEEE 2024 cutoffs will be published separately for each engineering branch. Candidates with a score of 118 or higher would most likely be put in the 1-250 range. Candidates with marks of less than 31 are predicted to secure a ranking of 20,000 or lower.

As a BTech student at LPU, I can provide the first-year syllabus for BTech in CSE. The first-year syllabus generally covers foundational subjects required to develop a strong base in students to understand computer science. The year is divided into 2 semesters which are called Autumn Term and Spring Term at LPU. The syllabus for both terms is mentioned in the tables below.

Students can also pursue four elective courses in various specialisations and aspects during the curriculum to develop additional skills and competency.

The fee structure at LPU varies according to the course opted. I am a B.Tech student at LPU, so I can shed light upon the fees for my course. 

The B.Tech course fee at LPU (for those who have qualified the LPUNEST) is INR 1.40 lakh per semester. But those who opt for particular CSE specializations have to pay INR 1.70 lakh per semester. The B.Tech Hons. in CSE cost INR 2 lakh per semester.
