No, LPU does not offer any courses in petroleum engineering. However, you can consider a BTech chemical engineering course as a viable alternative. You will learn about converting raw materials into useful products of value. A broad spectrum of topics are covered in this course that are important in petroleum refining and processing. 

Additionally, you can also opt for elective courses in the areas of petroleum engineering. The course will provide you with a strong foundation to pursue a career in petroleum engineering. If you have scored 57.4% in class 12, you are not eligible to appear in the LPUNEST, CUET, or JEE Main for BTech admission at LPU. 

The eligibility criteria for BTech CSE at LPU is that candidates need to qualify for class 12th with 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics, and English or equivalent. You need to be eligible for the entrance test (LPUNEST CUET or JEE Main) for BTech admission at LPU. 

LPU sends its CSE students for industrial training, generally at top software companies like Infosys, Wipro, HCL, Cognizant, Microsoft, ABB, ISRO, etc. Companies hire for 2-4 month industrial training program on the basis of candidate’s performance in aptitude tests and interviews. These industry projects will help students in the corporate world and help them become competitive and ready for the real world. At the end of the program, students at LPU can get certificates from the company, which will be helpful in their future jobs at top companies.

I am a BCA (AI) student at Parul University and this is my opinion on the curriculum. 

The syllabus is created by industry experts who have been working in the AI and tech industry for years. The syllabus focuses more on the practical aspects than just plain theory.

We are taught a variety of topics, right from fundamentals to advanced-level AI concepts. The syllabus includes topics like fundamentals of AI, machine learning, full-stack web development, mathematics, etc.

I applied for the BTech ECE course at Parul University last year. The eligibility criteria for admission is as follows:

• You need to pass 12th with mandatory subjects - Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology. 
• You need to score at least 45% of marks in theory and practical in these subjects. 
• There is a 5% relaxation of marks for reserved category students (SC/ST/OBC).

I am a B.Tech student at LPU, and I appeared for LPUNEST in 2022. 

In case there are no slots available for the exam center of your choice, you can fill in an alternate center. If you are failing to get a slot option due to technical difficulties, make sure there are no discrepancies in your registration/application form. In case you find some, refill your form.

If your problem does not resolve even after taking these measures, I would suggest you call the university office. The admission counselors will help solve your problem. In any case, the university will call you in a day or two and guide you through the formalities. They might even give you a slot on their own. The information of the same will be given on your dashboard.
