What does NIT PATNA CSE classes look like?
One of my cousins visited NIT Patna for document verification. Initially, he was shocked by the old buildings but once he entered the building, the infrastructure left him in awe. He clicked a few pics of the CSE classrooms and labs. I am sharing a few below
CSE Classroom
The CSE lab had around 50-60 computers in one room. The hostels were under renovation and he enjoyed the cool breeze from the River Ganga at the back of the college. There were many places to hang around near the campus like malls and playgrounds. Although he found the campus to be a bit cramped, he was impressed by the facilities and the cooperative staff.

What's the career growth and options after getting PGDBA (business analytics) from IIT kharagpur, IIM Calcutta and ISI Kolkata?
PGDBA is a course that involves you staying at IIT Kharagpur, IIM Calcutta, and ISI Kolkata for roughly 4-5 months each semester. You will study the first semester at ISI Kolkata, the second semester at IIT Kharagpur, and the third semester at IIM Calcutta.

Which book will be best for IIFT exam preparation?
The basic preparation for all the Management entrance exams, such as CAT, XAT, remains the same. Where you have to focus more is on the Current Affairs section. You can prepare current affairs by reading newspapers, magazines like Manorama Yearbook, GK Today, etc.
Today several online courses also started like CareerAnna, Ravi Handa, which you can join for the MBA exam. Brush up your general knowledge, which might help you to solve some questions along with keeping up with all the current affairs.
The most important thing required to crack the IIFT exam is speed. Therefore, practice and solve the previous 10 years of papers in a limited time to increase your speed during the exams.
Should I consider leaving Delhi University for B. R. Ambedkar University, Delhi?
It depends on the college you are getting admission under Delhi University. If you are able to get into one of the top colleges in the North or South campus of Delhi University, you should stick with it. Otherwise, choosing AUD over DU will be better. One other thing that you should consider while making the choice is your ultimate goal, i.e. research/job. You should definitely choose AUD if you are interested in pursuing research.
What are some creative and different hostel rooms at IIIT Hyderabad?
Some of my friends have the most creative hostel rooms at IIIT Hyderabad. Their rooms are architecturally the same as any other hostel rooms, however, their creativity has transformed them into beautiful spaces.
My best friend has one of the most attractive and well-maintained hostel rooms in IIIT Hyderabad. She has decorated her entrance with a paper hanging. The pink colored heart shapes have a golden center and hang from a nail above the entrance door. On the door itself, a paper slip with small paper flowers on its borders, contains her name. The wall above her study table is decorated with posters of wild animals and small notes that she has scribbled on colored papers with sketch pens. She has made a beautiful sketch containing all the main characters from a popular television sitcom. Just above her window, she has put up a black coloured sticker of birds sitting on a tree branch.
One of my juniors has put up posters containing memes on the walls of her room. Her room completely defines her energetic and quirky personality. Her room is very unique and reminds of the good old childhood days. Another of my friends likes to paste maps around her room so that she can use each moment of her time productively.

What was your rough timetable at IIT Bombay?
In the first year, your timetable at IIT Bombay would typically look like this:
- Waking up at 8 am.
- Getting ready quickly and have breakfast.
- Attending morning classes.
- Resting for 1-2 hours till the next class.
- Attending classes till afternoon.
- Having lunch at the canteen.
- Taking teaching assistantship duty by taking labs to second and third-year students until evening.
- Coming back to the hostel.
- Browsing the internet, watch movies, finish assignments, chat with friends or engage in some other activity.
- Sleeping at around 12 am or so.
However, your second year would be very different since you don't have classes for your masters in the second year. Instead, your schedule would look more like this:
- Going to the lab (professor's cabin) and sitting until you feel like going to the hostel.
- Going to the canteen for food and coming back to the lab to do some work.
- Attempting Hacker Rank mathematics problems for nearly 3 months.
- Working hard on your dissertation by sleeping many days in the lab itself (which turns out to be very fun, though!)
- Every day would be almost the same: Either sitting in the hostel or the cabin since you will have no classes and have to work on your own.
Which one to choose? IMT Ghaziabad full time vs Great Lakes, Chennai 2 year PGDM?
Great Lakes, Chennai is better known for its 1-year PGPM program, while the PGDM program has not gained the same level of attention or appreciation as its PGPM counterpart. Additionally, as a relatively new B-school, Great Lakes is not as established as IMT Ghaziabad, which has a rich legacy of around 30 years.
While it's true that the batch size of IMT Ghaziabad can be seen as a drawback, if you are in the top 20-30% of the batch, your placements can be comparable to top-tier B-schools like NMIMS, IIFT, and IIM I/K. IMT is particularly known for its marketing specialization, so if you want to specialize in marketing, IMT can be considered a default choice.
