Remember that degrees earned through any mode, such as regular, evening classes, correspondence, or private, from any university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), are valid and equivalent to any government job. This means that regardless of the method by which you earned your degree, it will be considered valid as long as it was obtained from a UGC-recognized university.
If you are pursuing a degree through distance education, it is important to ensure that the program is recognized by both the UGC and the Distance Education Council (DEC). The DEC is controlled by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), so you can be confident in the validity of your distance education degree if it is from IGNOU. The video further talks about the validity of Distance Education
In summary, it is crucial for you to ensure that your degree is from a UGC-recognized university, regardless of the mode of education. Additionally, if you are pursuing a degree through distance education, make sure that it is recognized by both the UGC and DEC, with IGNOU being a reliable option. By ensuring that your degree meets these requirements, you can feel confident in pursuing a government job with your degree.
If you live in a metropolis, go to IGNOU and get an application form for transcripts; otherwise, they say the same is available on the IGNOU website, which you can download, fill out, and attach a photocopy of your consolidated marks sheets, graduation certificate, and a Demand draught as specified on the form. That's all. Courier it and wait for the transcripts, which will be sent to the registered address on file with ignou. IGNOU's support team is ineffective, failing to respond to phone calls or emails and refusing to send transcripts to the address provided on the application form. They will only deliver to the registered address. Depending on your luck, it could take 2 to 3 months.
Get the form, fill it out, attach your marks/grade sheet, and your degree/graduation certificate, and then go to the Delhi ignou examination center. Take a reference or confirmation slip and try to get the personal contact information of someone in the department, then follow up with him. It should be completed in 12-15 days. When you're ready, go personally to collect.
Contact the y-axis concierge service; the service will be charged to you (approx 10k). You should have it in 15-20 days. Basically, they will go with option 2 because they will have branches in almost every city in India.
Note that if you are an IHM student, you will also need NCHMCT Transcripts, which is a separate and relatively easier process.
You don't need to be concerned about it. In IGNOU, there is no such thing as an assignment number. You may have been perplexed by the term Assignment Code. IGNOU only requires an enrolment number.
When one talks about "assignment code," they are referring to the information on the top right side of your assignment question paper. It displays the year of your assignments (session), such as 2019-2020 or 2021-2022. It shows the validity of your assignment, such as which year it needs to appear in your TEE.
You must include the assignment code, as well as other details, on the first page of your IGNOU assignment.
You should check with your local post office if they sent you the original certificate via Indian post. The original mark sheets/certificates are sent to the candidate at their registered address, but they may or may not reach the student. You have the following options available to you.
1. Visit a regional study center and inquire if they have your original certificate.
If they have it, they will issue you a certificate after the necessary formalities.
2. If not, go to IGNOU headquarters in Delhi (allow a couple of days before going, but staff members at Delhi HO are very helpful) and they will provide you with a duplicate copy of your mark sheet/certificate.
3. When you visit the IGNOU headquarters in Delhi, try to obtain the dispatch number as well as other pertinent information and establish contact with the postal department.
Otherwise, with the above information, file an RTI regarding the status of delivery of your consignment as per the information received from IGNOU. Because you will face difficulties if you do not present original certificates at the time of admission/interview, make every effort to obtain the originals.
If your study centre does not have a specific paper size, you can use A4-size paper or assignment pages with lines marked on them. Mark the page number on your assignment and the total pages in front of your assignment, and if you submit any tables or images, mark them on your table of content.
When submitting your assignment, remember to include a copy of your assignment question as well as your name, enrollment number, submission date, course name and code, term, study centre address, as well as your address and contact number, so that study centre staff can contact you if anything goes wrong.

Both Delhi University and Jawahar Lal Nehru University offer Master's degrees in Environmental Sciences. However, there is a difference in the degree offered, which is primarily due to the approach to the subject. Candidates will be enrolled in the Masters of Environmental Studies programme at Delhi University, while the Environmental Sciences programme at JNU.
The distinction is due to the approach taken in developing the curriculum. Students at Delhi University are taught the socio-economical aspects of environmental sciences in addition to developing an understanding of the subject in the context of physicochemical and biological aspects of the environment (and their interactions). Subjects taught include "social perspectives of environmental studies" and "environmental economics." There is also a Masters in Arts (MA) programme for students with a background in the humanities.
The emphasis at Delhi University is on environmental ecology, pollution sciences, and biotechnology. Remote sensing, conservation sciences, statistics, geology, and environmental impact assessment are among the subjects taught. I believe the emphasis at JNU is more on the scientific aspect of the subject (which somehow seems legitimate since the degree is being offered for Masters in Science). Furthermore, 70-80% of the curriculum is shared by both universities. Though the JNU syllabus is extensive in terms of subjects such as hydrology and the fundamental principles/technical aspects of water and pollution movement.
A valid score in the Distance Education Entrance Test is required for admission to MCA. There will be no better place to study MCA than IITs and Anna University.
Anna University offers a good MCA program. The institution is as excellent as its staff members. The team there is extremely helpful. One can work on difficult projects, build algorithms, and present them. Anna University, as an elite and reputable university, provides ample opportunity to learn and explore.
You can expect a reasonable salary of 3-4LPA, depending on your skills, knowledge, and work experience. It is also important to consider the company where one is placed. Anna University is the top MCA college.
MCA is an option at Anna University. It's the better option.
Placements at IIM Calcutta are modified versions of the Stanford Prison Experiment that involve less physical abuse but ruthless psychological torture. And it is past time that CAT aspirants and the general public were made aware of this. It is also an attempt to raise awareness among the Institute's Board of Governors, faculty, and other stakeholders. It also reflects utter dissatisfaction with IIM-C Alumni who graduated in recent years and failed to take any action or stand up for what is right, despite knowing what goes on here.
Yes, the Placement Committee members were recently subjected to a Non-Confidence Motion because a majority of final-year MBAs finally took a stand against the oppressive regime. If you fail to attend company PPTs or a Wing mate fails to attend due to illness, your entire wing will be barred from at least three companies. Unless you're a friend or a beloved, of course. Nobody holds PlaceCom accountable.
