FPM (Fellow Programme in Management) students at FMS Delhi typically receive a monthly stipend of INR 50,000 during the first year of their program. This amount can be subject to change, and I recommend confirming the current stipend amount with the institution directly.
Firstly IIM Bangalore does not offer FMP in Maths because it does not specialize in Maths. So if you are going for the quantitative field you need to choose an area of interest on your own.
In India Finance has more to do with economics rather than Maths. This is because of the lack of Maths in UG and PG schools. So the research work has a qualitative approach rather than a quantitative one. Here math is just used to express the research conducted and is not for actual research purposes. So based on this information, I have 3 suggestions for you
Based on my suggestions and information you can make a wise decision that suits you the best.
If you are considering pursuing a doctoral program at IIM Rohtak, it is important to have an understanding of the academic and administrative systems in place. While one individual may have had negative experiences, it is important to do your own research and weigh the pros and cons before making a decision.
Here are some points to consider:
Ultimately, the decision to pursue a Ph.D. at IIM Rohtak is a personal one that should be made based on your goals, interests, and research. Do your due diligence, weigh the pros and cons, and make an informed decision that feels right for you.
For the FPM program, IIM Ahmedabad selects students based on their performance in CAT. Students with good scores in a standard test in lieu of CAT can also apply for the program. Different specializations of IIM A FRM has different standard tests that aspirants need to take. For most programs, IIMA accepts GRE, GATE, GMAT, UGC JRF scores.
The answer to this question is subjective as it depends solely on your career inclinations, your purpose of pursuing FPM, and what you plan to do after it. It is best suitable
For the above two cases, the FPM course is the best option. Despite being a new course, it is taught by the best faculty and through excellent pedagogy. This course equals a Ph.D. and can open doors to teaching at IIMs. The job is decent with high pay. All you need to do is invest your time and effort in the course.
The only drawback of this course is that there are no placement opportunities for FPM students.
IIM Rohtak offers a full-time doctoral program in management or FPM (full-time). This program is designed for working professionals. The exams accepted for admission to this program are CAT/GMAT/UGC-NET/GRE/GATE (in relevant disciplines). Those who did not appear for any of these exams can sit for the RAT (Research Aptitude Test).

The Ph.D. specializations offered under this program are in the following disciplines
Overall, IIM Rohtak FPM is a great choice for those working professors who are looking for a decent program to upgrade their managerial skills and climb the corporate ladder.
IIM Rohtak is the wrong place to study EFPM/FPM. It is a part-time program offered by IIM Rohtak that is not a degree program or recognized as a Ph.D. After paying 75% of the total fee, the program has 50-60% dropouts in various batches in the first 1.5 years. The Institute is adamant about not making it a Ph.D. program, as most IIMs have.
The curriculum load is extremely heavy, with extremely stringent rules and regulations that are impossible to manage with a regular job. The faculty's overall attitude toward experienced industry executives is also unprofessional. The administration is the absolute worst. There is no knowledge of new research areas.
IIM Udaipur is well known for its enriching research culture and even gives an edge to top B Schools like IIM Calcutta and Ahmedabad in this aspect. It has made many research contributions and therefore has made its position in top ranks.
Operations Management
IIM Udaipur provides all the necessary resources to provide education in this domain.
Career prospects:
The career prospects of a PhD candidate depends on his/her publications. They can also look for jobs in consulting also.
My cousin recently joined the institute and has seen students frequently vacate the FPM program of IIM Rohtak. There can be several reasons for this. However, it is somewhat unlikely and vague as well. Especially, when considering the issues concerning the director, as is known by the students.
Nobody can vouch for the scenario taking place at the institute. Thus, it is always the right choice to analyze what you are going for. It is suggested to stay updated with any information at all.
