There are three boys hostels and one girls hostel in the campus. Here are some of the perks you would enjoy while staying at the hostel –

Academic facilities are amazing IIIT Sri City and there is an on-campus hostel facility too. I have a few friends at IIIT Sri City, and I have heard good things about the institute from them.

IIIT Sri City is quite reputed for offering quality education in the engineering sector. It is an institute of national importance. The institute is mentored by IIIT Hyderabad and IIT Hyderabad. It also has a similar pedagogy as IIITH.
Despite being a new institution, IIIT Sri City placements have been good. The highest CTC offered by the institute is INR 21 LPA. Some of the top recruiters for IIIIT Sri City are Infosys, Amazon, L&T, Via.com, etc.
Which is the better choice, IIIT Sri City or IIEST Shibpur for civil engineering?
Here IIEST Shibpur will be a better choice for civil engineering as it is one of the oldest civil engineering colleges in our country and has improved a lot since its inception.
Batch Size:
One of my friends goes to IIEST, according to him the Civil Department has more than 100 students in a single batch.
Faculty:
The faculty of the civil engineering department is experienced, knowledgeable, and are highly qualified. They are great at teaching the concepts and are nice and friendly too. However, faculties sometimes tend to use Bangali while teaching, which is difficult to follow for out-of-state students.
Campus Life:
The campus is also very beautiful and the lifestyle at college is very lively. The hostel also provides many services and a student can decide the menu for their lunch and dinner.
Collaborations:
IIEST Shibpur has collaborations with the following institutes.

So, you can definitely choose IIEST Shibpur for Civil Engineering. But for placements don’t depend entirely on the institute.
Which is better for a B.Tech in Computer Science: MIT Manipal, IIIT Sri City (Chittoor), or IIIT Guwahati?
I know a few students at IIIT Guwahati and therefore, I would try to answer your question.
IIIT Guwahati is the highest-ranked IIIT among all the other IIITs by NIRF 2020. This is a huge achievement because it was established in 2013 under the Public-Private Partnership by the Government of India. It is growing rapidly.
The CSE program at IIIT Guwahati is very well-developed meeting the standards of an IIT. The institute provides a good research facility. Also, in the first year, the course is the same for CSE and ECE.

If you are considering IIIT Kolkata, IIIT Sri City and IIIT Trichy are all colleges that have done very well and are also developing quite well. Compared to these, IIIT Guwahati and Lucknow are not quite up to the mark yet.
As for IIIT Sri City, I have a friend studying there and according to him, this college is one of the first among the others to have its own campus.
- It was completed about a year or two ago so if you are looking for admission, definitely go to IIIT Sri City.
- The very first batch from this college had an average package offer of INR 7.5 LPA and is quite good as compared to mid-level NITs.
- The mentorships provided by IIITH also helps a lot and the curriculum here is amazing.
- If you are looking for research, almost every student ends up publishing a research paper in B.Tech. Students are even better to go on to publish around 6 to 7 international papers as well.

IIIT Sri City, though has been mentored by IIIT Hyderabad, has been functioning temporarily at the Institute for Financial Management and Research, Sri City campus. The mentor institute carries little importance, but the location of the temporary campus really does. Thus looking at these parameters, IIIT Srirangam is preferable.
