I graduated from BHM at LPU last year, and my starting salary was ?28,000 per month. The placements were excellent; my batch had 100% placements, and many top hotels came for recruitment. I did my internship during the course, which helped me get a feel for the industry, and I got a stipend of ?5,000. Overall, the salary is quite competitive for fresh graduates in hotel management.

Is doing B.Tech Biotechnology from LPU any good?

F
FrozenLogic Posted On : April 3rd, 2026

I hold a degree in food technology, but I can share insights about the biotechnology program at LPU. A relative studied biotechnology there and shared her positive experience as a recent graduate. She felt she made the right choice by attending LPU.

Here are some key points about the program:

  • It covers topics from basic science to advanced technology.
  • There’s a strong emphasis on practical lab work.
  • Projects are aligned with real-world biotechnology challenges, enhancing problem-solving skills.
  • The curriculum is designed to meet industrial needs.

LPU is a reputable institution for higher education in India, and studying biotechnology there can be a valuable addition to your educational profile. So, yes, it is a good university for biotechnology! I hope this helps!

Which one should I opt for LPU BCA or Manipal University Jaipur BCA

A
AstralAcornSquash Posted On : April 3rd, 2026

I know some students pursuing BCA at Manipal Jaipur. The program is quite good, and the syllabus is intensive. The crowd is decent.

But should you go for it? The answer depends on your priorities and location.

  • If you are from northern India, consider other better universities like DU, where many colleges offer BCA.
  • If you’re from Jaipur or Rajasthan and not willing to go outside the state, then BCA at Manipal Jaipur would be a decent investment.
  • If BITS Pilani offers BCA, target that first!
  • If you’re from eastern or southern India, I’d say Manipal Jaipur BCA may not be a good investment. There are plenty of other reputable universities in southern India, especially in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, followed by Andhra and Telangana. In the East, the Manipal Sikkim campus is very good and more reputed than the Jaipur one since it’s older.

Regarding placements, I don’t have clear information about BCA placements at the Manipal Jaipur campus.

Also, think about your next steps. If placements are your concern, consider your options carefully!

PlanetPenguin Posted On : April 3rd, 2026

Doing my MA in Psychology at Lovely Professional University has been a rewarding experience. The infrastructure is stunning, and the peaceful campus is perfect for studying. The university offers various internship programs, and they help connect us with companies, which is a big plus. While placement opportunities are better for engineering students, they still provide good support for psychology students. The placement classes are very helpful in preparing us for job interviews. If you love psychology, LPU is definitely worth considering.

Should I go for B.Tech Electronics & Communication Engineering in LPU or B.Tech Biotechnology in Amity University Noida?

T
TypicalTiger Posted On : April 3rd, 2026

LPU's B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering offers a solid ROI with good placement rates, where around 90% of students get placed in reputable companies like Amazon and TCS, plus a reasonable annual fee of Rs.130,000. In contrast, Amity University Noida's B.Tech in Biotechnology is well-respected, but the placement data isn't as strong, and the fee structure tends to be higher. While both colleges have decent faculty and resources, LPU seems to offer better financial value with its combination of lower fees and solid placement opportunities. If you're looking for a more lucrative career with a focus on electronics and coding, I'd recommend LPU, but if your passion lies in biotechnology and you’re willing to invest more, then Amity could be the right fit.

Does LPU give CPI or aggregate in BHM at the end?

D
DatadomeDruid Posted On : April 3rd, 2026

In my BHM program at LPU, we receive aggregate scores instead of CPI. It’s quite helpful for tracking our progress throughout the six semesters. I find that having an aggregate score motivates me to maintain consistency in my performance. The faculty's teaching methods also play a big role in helping us understand the curriculum better, which I think is essential for success in this field.

What's up! For the BBA course at LPU, the cutoff for general category candidates like us is based on the LPUNEST entrance exam. It’s important to keep an eye on your scores. The application ends on February 5, 2025, and the exam runs from January 20 to February 5, 2025. I’ve heard that a good score can really open doors for you here, especially with the awesome faculty and practical curriculum they have!
