Here is some information about B.Tech CSE at IIT Tirupati-

  • Faculty- Most professors of the CSE department have completed their Phds. from IISc Bangalore, IIIT Hyderabad and IIT Madras. Some teachers dropped their successful corporate careers to follow their passion for teaching. The faculty is mostly passionate and knowledgeable. But there are obviously some boring teachers as well.
  • Facilities- The college library has a decent collection of books, and the department labs are well-equipped. The library remains open till 9 pm. The college currently operates from a Transit campus, and a lot of it is under construction. But it has decent hostels, a dining room, and grounds/courts for various sports. Students are provided with almost all the necessary facilities.
  • Placements- Even though IIT Tirupati is a 3rd gen IIT, it offers good placements in B.Tech CSE. As for 2023 placements, till now 77.55% B.Tech CSE students have been successfully placed from the campus.
