VJTI is one of the best government colleges in Mumbai offering courses like BTech, MTech, MCA and more. Admission to VJTI is based on your performance in the MHT CET exam. Every year, the college releases a cutoff for its BTech specialisations. My name is Vaidehi Sharma, and I've completed my BTech ECE from LPU. LPU has dedicated and helpful faculties who are always willing to help students. Furthermore the faculties help students explore different projects and competitions. There are mentors at LPU for placement guidance. 

As I was in the fifth semester several companies started visiting the college campus for recruiting purposes. These companies choose the best candidates from LPU. Since I was a weak student, my teachers suggested that I first join an Internship Program. LPU offers various opportunities for students to work directly with industry on Live and Entrepreneurial projects. My teachers guided me step by step to grab the internship and then enhance my skills to finally get a lucrative placement with a high CTC package. 

LPU has partnered with numerous top companies that recruit graduates as an Intern for live training to get hands-on experience. LPU also organizes workshops and has Summer training, full-term optional / compulsory internships, ‘On-the-job’ training, study tours, and skill enhancement events that help students like me. 

The duration and stipend of these internships can vary depending on various factors like company requirements, academic schedule and student availability. As in my case I've completed a 3 months internship at ABB India Ltd. with a stipend of INR 27,000 per month. 

Hence, LPU offers a good career Development program through internships and placements for BTech ECE students. 

I completed my B.Tech CSE from LPU in 2016. The B.Tech CSE placements at LPU are good. 

The University has a separate placement cell which is operated by mentors who are responsible to train students for placement interviews. This placement training starts in the final year of graduation and includes lessons on technical skill development, resume building, interview preparation, and soft skills training.

These mentors connect the students with national and international IT companies for placements. The BTech placement process involves various stages including the pre-placement talks, written tests, technical interviews, GD and PI.

LPU has recorded 90% placements in recent years. A BTech CSE student was offered INR 52.08 LPA by Microsoft. B.Tech Mechanical was offered a package of INR 54.9 LPA. Amazon, Cognizant, Infosys, Adobe, Microsoft, etc. are some of the top companies that participate in the LPU placements.

LPU offers scholarships based on your performance in the LPUNEST exam and your percentage in 12th class. The more you have percentage the more you get scholarship percentage like a student with 90-100% in 12th class will get 30% of the scholarship and a student with 80-90% will get 25% of the scholarship.

The total tuition fee for the BTech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering course at LPU is INR 11,20,000. Apart from the tuition fee, you need to pay the hostel fee of INR 4,40,000 if you are choosing the LPU hostel for accommodation.

Different types of scholarships are provided based on academic performance in 12th class, sports quota, NRI scholarships, reservation seats for foreign students and economically weaker sections.

Yes, the LPU BTech CSE syllabus includes industry visits, internships and seminars. More than 1,500 students pursued internships during my batch i.e. the session of 2021-22. We were offered stipends of up to NR 50,000 per month during internship/on-the-job training during the final year.

Being a student at LPU , I know that it provides diverse programs both at the undergraduate as well as at the postgraduate level to the students. The B.Tech in Biotechnology is four years with eight semesters and its cost is around Rs 1,40,000 per semester. This program helps the student to develop a strong foundation in application and the basics of biotechnology. This is one of the booming fields in the world. I would like to point out the advantages of pursuing a B.Tech in Biotechnology from LPU. My time at LPU has been great and has helped me to gather thorough knowledge about the subject. LPU conducts a scholarship test called LPU NEST. You can sit for this exam to get a scholarship and some concession on the course fee. As of 2023, the course fee per semester for BTech in Computer Science Engineering from LPU costs Rs 1,40,000 per semester. There are a total of two semesters per year. The course time frame is f 4 years. Students who score well in LPU NEST can save money. 

The college you choose for pursuing your dream career hardly matters. Your dedication hard work towards your goal and laser focus on earning all aspects of the subject is what matters. You are the one who has to deal with the college curriculum and perform. 

However, when it comes to pursuing BTech, LPU is a good college. It is one of the best private universities in the country. LPU’s Btech courses are diverse and provide students with the right knowledge that helps them to grab placement opportunities at top companies. LPU’s BTech CSE curriculum is a good choice and it gives an edge to the students compared to their peers. Attending classes is mandatory and you should keep this in mind. If you are an irregular student and looking for a college that does not mind students not attending the classes, then LPU is not the right college for you.
