Does ISI Kolkata provide undergraduate courses on Computer Science?
No, unfortunately, ISI Kolkata does not provide undergraduate courses on computer science. However, the proposal for starting B.Tech in computer science has been put forward but has not landed to any conclusion yet, and is being said that in the coming future this proposal may be accepted.
For now, the present scenario of the undergraduate course in ISI Kolkata would just be B.Stat and B.Math. They both contain extensive teaching in computer programming as well as statistics.
B.Math is a combination of computer science and pure mathematics and statistics. Whereas B.Stat contains lesser topics of computer science in their syllabus than B.Math.
Which Canadian university is better for a foundation course, Ryerson University, University of Manitoba or Dalhousie University?

All these three universities have a good placement with 86.7% Employment rate of Ryerson University, 83% for the University of Manitoba, and 84% for Dalhousie University.
Shall I apply for all the three courses of NITIE Mumbai or just one? Is it worth it?

To get shortlisted for the programs at NITIE Mumbai, there are two exam options:
CAT
- To get a call for the GP and PI round meant for the flagship program at NITIE, you need to score more than 97 percentile.
- The placements are good for this program.
- PGDISEM is another program that you can apply for with your CAT score.
- The cut-off is usually around 86 percentile.
- It is related to the environment and the placements are also specific to the area.
- I would suggest you opt for this course only if you are interested in the environmental area.
GATE
- You can apply for PGDIE through your GATE score.
- PGDIE and PGDIM have placements in the same pool.
- The course is good and you also get a stipend.
All the courses stand out because of their uniqueness. If placements are concerned, all these courses are the same. However, apart from these courses, PP and PM are two other courses that you can opt for with CAT scores. But, these are new courses and have poor placement records therefore, I would recommend not opt for these.
Which college is better for CSE, LPU or IEM Kolkata?
The choice between LPU and IEM Kolkata for CSE depends on various academic and professional criteria.

Both have advantages and disadvantages.

- Campus placement ensures that every student gets a good job after finishing the course.
- One has a year to find work in the United States or else they must leave the country.

- They provide a degree as opposed to the IIM diploma, which requires an additional certificate to demonstrate equivalence to a degree.

Any course offered by an institute like IIM Calcutta is guaranteed to be of the highest quality and have significant industry relevance. Instead of this course, it is recommended that you take the CAT and then enroll in the flagship PGDM program at IIM Calcutta. - Peer group: All of them give you a network of the sharpest and brightest minds, so all in the same boat.
- Culture: IIM C, XLRI, IIM B & A tie at the same spot (personal opinion completely).
- Location: Depends from person to person, so this is a ranking you'll have to do for yourself.
- Specialization: Depends on what specialization you're looking for. IIM Ahmedabad gives you the best for Consulting, IIM Calcutta for finance.
- Gut feeling: This is again, very personal, depending on what your dream college was when you started out.
- Other criteria like packages, internships, fees, etc. won't be a differentiation in these because all of them would give you very similar job profiles, and CTC and have marginally different fees.
Ultimately, the institution that you choose should align with your career goals and aspirations. It's important to research and compare each institution carefully before making a decision.
My daughter is getting an admission in IIT Delhi's management course but she has already taken admission in IIM Kozhikode. Should she shift?
IIM Kozhikode is far superior to IIT Delhi. It is regarded as one of the best management education institutes in the world. IIT is a technological institute, whereas IIM is a management institute.
Regardless of location, you should choose IIM Kozhikode over the Department of Management Studies at IIT Delhi. Following are the factors for the same:
- IIM K is a well-established institute with over two decades of experience, and most importantly, it is an IIM.
- It has a higher brand value, better placements. MBB has also visited IIM Kozhikode.
- In terms of faculty, they are top-notch and have experienced in their respective fields.
- The campus is beautiful and extraordinary, and it is only a few hours away from Wayanad. It is a great place to be and no one would want to miss campus life.
You should choose IIM K over DMS IIT Delhi, irrespective of its location. You will not regret it.
Will BHMS doctor get MMC registration after completing certificate course in modern pharmacology from MUHS?
No, a BHMS doctor will not get MMC registration after completing a certificate course in modern Pharmacology from MIHS. BHMS is a 4.5+1-year course in Homeopathy, under which you learn the art of Homeopathy to practice Homoeopathy in the future.
MBBS on the other hand is a 4.5+1-year course in allopathic medicine, wherein you learn the art of modern medicine to practice allopathy.
The primary purpose of the one-year certificate course in Pharmacology was to enhance knowledge of Homeopathic doctors in modern medicine and it was not introduced to compete with the allopathic doctor. So, unless they obtain an MBBS degree, a BHMS doctor is not eligible to obtain MMC registration.
What are the courses offered by IIM Lucknow, Noida campus?
IIM Lucknow, Noida campus provides a flagship program in an International Program in Management for Executives (IPMX). It is one year fulltime and residential programs, offered by IIM Lucknow.
In the year 2015, IIM Lucknow started a postgraduate program in Sustainable Management, from its Noida Campus. This Program is equivalent to the PGP courses as the course duration is two years. However, each batch has 20 students.

Besides, IIM Lucknow, Noida campus also provides a part-time course of 21 days, namely, the Working Managers Program (WWP). This course is for working professionals, who are working in Delhi and Noida location.
